The brunch is really good and the hamburgers too. For this type of food the prices are good (usually they are higher in other places). If you want to eat a good American burger or an American brunch you have to come to this place.

Ate here with friends when we were in town for a wedding. It was nice to have some food that reminded us of home. Prices were reasonable and the food was awesome.

As with others we were craving a basic North American style breakfast and made our way to The Diner. The good: Service was attentive, staff very friendly, great coffee. The bad: The hashbrowns were very greasy. 2 of my 3 "over easy" eggs were completely cooked with broken yolks. There was part of a food sticker in my salad. The... More

Dear Luke, I'm sorry that you were less than pleased with your experience. We are very proud of our food and know that it is of the highest quality. All the fruit and vegetables arrive every morning fresh from the market and are attentively washed, making it little credible that the lettuce could taste anything but fresh or that any... More

After a month in Italy, it gets to the point in which I prefer to starve rather than having one more panini for breakfast. I'm really thankful for this place. Hearty breakfast with a lot of options. And even their Italian options are not too shabby. They served my EggsBenedict with hash browns instead of bread, and with a garlic... More

Everything here was ok. You'll get a basic American style breakfast as you would at an average diner in the states. I saw a hollandaise pulled pork egg dish on another table that looked pretty good. Won't disappoint. Will satisfy but you won't run back.

Dear Steven, We actually have quite a few people who fawn over our food and come back on a regular -- even daily -- basis. Therefore, we'll have to disagree with you. Thank you, regardless, for your visit and your feedback. Best, Stefano and Martha More

Nice outdoor seating, but the food was not impressive. I had a vegetable omelette, which was bland, and the vegetables used were overcooked. It came with a breaded, deep fried hash brown, which I didn't try, and a mini salad with a tomato slice (which turned out to be the top of a tomato, with the core, when I turned... More

Dear Kiara, We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your breakfast. Our omelettes are often complimented and our vegetables used are all cooked in house, like our hashbrowns which, being quite delectable, deserved to be tried before being criticized (something we would recommend to apply to all parts of life). Given that our bacon is always cooked... More

Located around the corner from the small but fantastic Bargello Museum this satisfied our craving for something other than Italian food after several days there. They consider cheeseburgers their specialty and ours were VERY good with hot & crispy fries. Very fast and friendly service, too. Looking around about 90% of the diners had the cheeseburgers including the locals and... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
