Our return visit felt a bit less authentic, but mamma was still taking the orders. Overall it is now mostly tourists...perhaps that was the time of year (we dined December 22nd). Food was quite good. We asked for the special Tuscany wine list that included...More

Returned to one of my old favorites from past years and was not disappointed. Same local vibe, with tourists scattered about. Amazing selection of local dishes. I had the ribollita, which was thick and flavorful. My husband loved his ravioli of cavalo nero. To be...More

The setting of the restaurant is very comfortable and the service is exceptional. We first dined here in August 2018 and enjoyed a wonderful Bistecca along with their house red wine. We were back in Florence in Dec 2018 and had to go back and...More

Went for dinner around 7:00pm and we were lucky to get a table, booking probably recommended. It's a very nice place and the staff were all very welcoming. The food was excellent, probably the best we had in Florence. The cod in a marinara sauce...More

Admittedly...it was our first ever bistecca, but it was tasty!! No teeth required for eating! Staff were lovely. Very friendly. Had a good laugh with them about our poor Italian. Complimentary limoncello after our meal. Delicious homemade tiramasu! Couldn’t fault the place! Yum!

The concierge at our hotel recommended this restaurant, and it was great dinner. Service was a bit slow if you're used to American restaurants, but the food was worth it. Be sure to get limoncello with dessert.

In our menu there is always a kind of risotto ... even two. It depends on the seasonality of the products. Mamma Giovanna
