Walk in the restaurants and had a really great service. We had a wonderful portion of mixed crostini and Polenta flan with mushrooms and black cabbage. Really delicious. Then we had a portion of gnocchi with sausage and pappardelle al cinghiale. There is a great selection of wine and we had one of the chianti classico. Good prices and great... More

Late in the afternoon we happened upon this fascinating looking restaurant. They told us they were closed until 7:00, so we waited. When we entered at 7:05, we were warmly greeted and shown a table at the window. Then a "spritz", which was lovely. Our meal was perfect for our appetites. A large appetizer for me, a meal for my... It has a very nice atmosphere and the food is very good. It is located in the center of the city. They have a very good selection of traditional food and it is very tasty. You can also see a lot of locals eat here.

Great atmosphere, local people, good food, not expensive, great service.we were advised to come for lunch by a local merchant, who eats here regularly. Didn't see any tourists... Family eating beside us and other regulars who seemed to know the owner and wait staff. I had the ribolitta and Chianti-- nice break in between shopping.

The restaurant is in the heart of the city center. We went Friday night there without booking and we found a table very easy. The service is very friendly and they are happy to answer you every question you may have about the menu. We tried traditional dishes which were very tasty. Generally the place is a very good and... Our hotel had recommended my husband and I to come here and they made reservations for us [a must if you want a table]. When we arrived they were getting our table ready so while we waited they gave us some Spritz. We did have to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be ready but once we were... More

Excellent little restaurant, with very helpful staff, everything we ordered was delicious. We started with fried brie covered with sesame and truffle oil, the I had the pasta e fragioli, my wife had the gnocchi and, hard to admit, I had ossobuco over beans. Yes, I even had desert, tiramisu, which was excellent. I had never experienced a three course... More
