After a busy and hot sightseeing morning in Florence Il Desco was the perfect lunchtime stop under its water cooled street side canopies. The menu is simple but offers farm to table food with the dish of the day - simply cooked freshly made pasta...More

Excellent gluten free pasta and bread. The vegetables were so fresh! My husband enjoyed the rabbit. They even made special pastas for our three small children. Wonderful place!

As a celiac, it’s not often I get to have a truly nice lasagna, but I did here. And topped with their home grown vegetables, it’s a great and fresh option for everyone.

The co-owner, Shams, took dinner from a five star to six if we could. First the food: the farm to table nature really shines. Even the salad sang. Zucchini gave our soup body just perfectly. We went gluten free on the lasagna, and it was...More

The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. I do not expect for things to be immediate, but I do feel that we should have some sort of service within the first 10 minutes of being sat.

We went there in the evening. I knew they were recommended by Michelin and most of meals are vegan, even i am meat lover. Their prices are very decent as for Florence, wine list is short but offers local good wines. We were recommended one...More

We are located in the historic center of Florence, between Piazza del Duomo and San Marco and we offer a simple and tasty cuisine, made with the freshest ingredients of the highest quality. We owned a small farm in Reggello that provides us vegetables, fruit and extra virgin olive oil certified organic by ICEA. For this reason our menu is seasonal and changes every three months according to the production of the garden. The focus is on offer vegetarian dishes and great attention is paid to the Gluten Free offer, almost everything on the menu is suitable for people with celiac disease! Limited offer of meat, but always available in most traditional recipes:)
