Favourite of all the fabulous artisan ice cream places in Florence. Very popular with locals - understandably so. Lovely selection of favours. The chocolate was some of the best we've ever tasted.

I stopped here at night. It’s real gelato, not the tourist kind. Less sugar, more natural. I had the lemon and the banana. They were both fairly good.
We stopped by this place after having read mixed reviews. We agree with previous reviews. The gelato was very good, although not the best I’ve ever tasted. But the service was horrendous! The woman who helped us could not have been more unfriendly or unwelcoming....I was tempted to walk out. She was so rude. We felt like we just had to order whatever she was willing to serve us because God forbid we would ask her a question. She gave us dirty looks, never thanked us for coming in, and acted irritated at our mere presence. If she doesn’t like being in the gelato business, she should get another job! It’s all the customers that come in to order the ice cream that keep her in business. I can’t figure out why she would possibly need to be so unfriendly to her customers. Since there are so many fabulous gelato shops in Florence, I suggest you stop by another shop where someone actually appreciates your business.More
We really loved this gelato, it was an amazing experience! Pistacchio is our favorite always and this was perfect!!!!!
I got the pistachio flavor and found myself wanting a little more that evening, which meant it was better than other gelato I’d had. Overall recommend stopping if you’re in the area.
The best Gelato I've had so far on my Italy trip. Creative flavours, salted milk, spicy pumpkin definitely worth a trying.
The most delicious gelato in all of Italy! We tried gelato in every stop from Rome, Florence, Capri, and Amalfi. This shop in Florence was by far the best. Grazie!
Best gelato we had in Italy - proper gelato - we had the pistachio and also the fig and both were soooo delicious. Lovely service just added to the experience.
Visited the Via dei banchi location. Absolutely delightful. Always look for a gelateria that has its gelato in steel containers with a lid or as a minimum the gelato flat in the container. Never the ones with a high heep of the stuff. Here, the...taste is superb and at least during our two visits, the personnel was very friendly and funny.More
Delicious, fresh gelato with the very best service! The staff was so friendly and kindly explained some of the unique flavors they had. Helped us in English and the next customer was French and they helped in that language too. And the flavors were unique...and to die for!More
BEST GELATO EVER!!! We’ve been in Rome, Florence, and Cinque Terre and ate at multiple gelato places in each city looking for the gelato that everyone raves about in Italy and frankly, the number of fake/touristy gelato places is outlandish. We went here as part...of a food tour and it was sincerely the mind blowing gelato experience I was looking for. I only got to experience it once because we were short on time. Please do me (and yourself!) a favor and eat here multiple times a day! It’s so, so good. This is what you come to Italy for.More
OH MY GOD. I will dream about this gelato forever. The dark chocolate mint was the best gelato I've ever eaten.
We have been eating our way through Italy’s gelato and can say this was the best one we have ever had. Smoothest and richest gelato flavours, my favourite was the 75% chocolate one, I had to stop myself from getting it every time to try...the other flavours. If you try one gelato place in Florence, this is a must!More
Yum! Friendly, attentive staff. Great gelato. Our favourite was the 75% dark chocolate scoop. Great location for a gelato!
Some of the best gelato we have had on our trip to Italy. The pistachio and strawberry were very good. Highly recommend stopping by!
