Our second time in Florence and we went with our family twice. I highly recommend the gourmet board. Our 4 year old and 7 year old enjoyed it and said it was the best restaurant they’ve been to and I agree. Save yourself the headache...and get a sandwich here which is as good or better than the big line down the street. The atmosphere at La Prosciutteria is great and having a nice table with friendly staff beats eating on the street with pigeons like the restaurant down the street. Personally I found the bread softer and the sandwiches as good as down the road.More

Been before and to other locations. The food is great and cannot be faulted! Had a large gourmet board and the kids and us demolished it. The choice is wide and there is real good quality wine to go with it. There isn't enough room...within the premises, but that's the same across the other locations - so is a known. But the staff aren't helpful when you get in. They're also not that interested when they're serving you. Shame really as it should be as popular as the sandwich shop just down the road, but it isn't!More

This is another sight with inflated reviews. We’re beginning to not trust Trip Advisor so much in the last few years. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing, but we ordered from the most popular suggestions and both of our pork sandwiches had excessive fat on...the meat. It was really quite disgusting. My mother order the ham sandwich which was ok, but the bread was very greasy. This is not the highlight of sandwiches in Florence, despite the 6000 plus reviews. I suggest looking elsewhere. Not recommended!More

This place was on our list because of a helpful YouTube recommendation. It did not disappoint. The actual restaurant is an authentic deli - big on atmosphere! We sat at a tiny table on tiny chairs (seriously), and soaked up the music, the people and...the aromas. We had the gourmet platter for two. It was utterly magnificent. A wide variety of cold cuts, cheeses and marinated vegetables, breads with pate and an extra bread basket. VERY reasonably priced. Had a lovely wine by the glass. Stumbled out, full and happy. Already contemplating going back. Get there early 11:45 - it fills up quickly.More

When we ate here, we did not have bread options, however, we also did not ask. We got what they made or had delivered from a local baker. They are a very small shop but you can certainly ask if gluten-free is an option.
