We went to a wine bar that was recommended by Trip Advisor, but they were closing for the evening. I asked for a recommendation and the restaurant manager directed us to Solo Toscano! The meal was excellent. I had Gnudi, and when we got home I went on-line to find a recipe and we have made them several times. The... More

It's a pity this restaurant considers itself a steakhouse (I am vegan). Other than that it was one of the best overall restaurant experience. It specifically caters for vegetarians and if vegan like myself just say you are; they will be very happy to help you out either by guiding you through the choices and/or making changes to the dishes... We had a really good experience here. Francesco the head waiter made us feel very welcome and gave us very good suggestions for food and wine (try the house Chianti - it's very good). The service was very attentive and the food was excellent (the T-Bone steak is really good, but so BIG). The cost was reasonable E70 for two... More

One can tell from the fresh flavors that Chef Gennaro Napolitano really cares about using local, seasonal and organic ingredients as much as possible. There are even several Slow Food Presidia products featured on the menu. The atmosphere is contemporary, yet cozy and the wait staff are all helpful and friendly. This is a place you'll see both tourists and... More

This place, facing the old food market, has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was efficient and friendly. I suspect that normally the food is as good. But on this occasion I have to say that the wild boar ragu with pasta was sub standard. The meat was tough and contained several inedible lumps of gristle. Two of our party... More

We had the pleasure of a cooking class with Gennaro and Vivienne at this lovely restaurant. We had a great time cooking and then eating our meal! The restaurant itself is gorgeous and location across from the market is great. Gennaro's passion for Tuscan cooking is obvious. Here's hoping for great success for this new restaurant!
