This is a real bad tourist trap. The food looks alright. But is just expensive and sometimes micro waved served with terrible bred. The place is dirty, a lot of papers and other things on the floor and the toalets they don´t clean at all. And the service,,, so slooooooow. Urkkk.

Right next to our apartment and my first meal on Italian soil. Had the seafood salad which was utterly fantastic. But the downer was the bill- 60 euros for two plates, a coke, and a beer.

I went to this restaurant with my friend as it looked nice from the outside, the menu seemed varied and the prices were reasonable. However, there are a lot of negative points. Firstly, they seem to use 'attractive' Italian waiters to draw in custom, probably to make up for the other areas it lacks in. As soon as we approached... More

Was this prepared four days ago and left out? The food is awful. The chicken was like eating rubber. The sauce was too salty. Pasta was like swallowing glue. A three euro sandwich at one of the many local shops would have been a better alternative. The ripped me off, don't let them do the same to you.

I mean, really awful. Heated-up frozen food would be better. I do not understand how the salad tasted bad? I am stunned. Thankfully we only stopped before catching the train back to Rome for a light snack. But we ate only part of our salad and cheese and then said "forget it". We knew it was likely a "tourist trap"... We decided to have lunch in the centre of Florence, with its wonderful ambience. We decided on Cafeteria Tavola Calda . A friendly waiter directed us to the food counter where 3 successive staff (female) treated us with rudeness, inefficiency, and insisted on adding additional items onto our order. I recommend you do not frequent this establishment.

We went in here to get out of the rain for a while and to get some much needed refreshments. There was a very small menu on the wall so it was difficult to make out prices but we ordered 2 coffees at 2.40 each only to be told at the till by a very irate lady that the 2... More

Ok service, expensive on what they offer, most expensive coke ever! Misleading: they charge extra on things apparently included (bread, etc). Avoid if possible...

what you should expect right at the plaza. pricey, prepared dishes, semi self serve. good selection, great location, fair service. food was edible, decent quality. not a place you would frequent, but good enough for a break from the crowds.
