We stumbled across this place while walking back from Piazzale Michelangelo, it was pouring with rain and we just needed somewhere to wait it out. We ended up having 8 pizzas and 2 bottles of wine between the 6 of us for €80!!!! The staff were amazing and the quality of the food was the Best. This is a proper... More

Some people cannot tell good pizza if it hit them in the face. Every region and city in Italy makes pizza their own way, usually the further north of Italy you travel, the more likely your pizza is to turn into a biscuit. But not at Pizzeria O'Scugnizzo. They have managed to bring to Florence real Neapolitan pizza, the way... More

I like to do my homework, and many reviews said this place was great. It's small, seems authentic, busy, and packed with people coming and going. There's only five two-person tables, so don't expect a seat. A large group had three of them alone when I came. The service was typically brusquely Italian. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't live up to... More

This place is a hidden gem located outside of the city centre. Their menu has a good variety of options, but still keeps the ingredients simple, uncomplicated, and super delicious. I wish I had discovered this place sooner during my stay in Florence because I would've dropped by a few more times before I left. You won't be disappointed with... More

This is a small place with 5 tables and a stone pizza oven. Really good variety of pies with a crust that is thin but still chewy.

My wife and I braved a rainstorm and lost our way getting to this great family pizzeria. I'm glad we didn't give up, this tiny joint is fantastic. Skip the ambiance and side walk dinning in front of a landmark. This place serves great pizza by real people, and at very affordable price. I haven't eaten a whole pizza in... More

Stumbled across this small pizzeria and let me just say it was the BEST EXPERIENCE. It is a 4th generation family owned business, the atmosphere and energy they brought to us made you feel like family. They have variety of pizza sections to choose from, and cold refreshing drinks. I had the marinara and overall the flavors of the sauce... More

I really enjoyed the pizza from O'Scugnizzo. The staff members were great. It was easy to order. Small place but well worth it.

Went for a quick, less-expensive dinner and the pizza here was great. It's a small place with limited service (basically none), but it was the best pizza I have ever had! It's away from the main tourist areas and seems to be a local place. Glad we found it!
