Hubby and I wanted a quick rest after a long tour at nearby Uffizi. Plopped down in a few outside stools (no inside seating) and enjoyed a few cheap glasses of good red wine served in plastic cups (1.5 euro each!). Sandwiches looked good too.

Thisn is a great spot to get a really good, really simple sandwich and some beer/wine. Sandwiches arent mind blowing or anything, but theyre made to order, he slices his own meats, and hell toast them for you if you want. Sandwich + wine = €5 all said and done. Don't miss out on some of the sauces too... I... More

This place is great. Inexpensive and good. Don't make the mistake of going next door under the umbrellas where I was charged 14 euros for 2 coffees.

Tiny little store, lost in the sea of touristic restaurants... Natural ingredients, a few stools and tables to sit in front and a very friendly owner. And the sandwich was actually a schiacciata fiorentina with home made pesto, fresh tomato, pecorino and fionochiona! <3

We were after a light lunch following our visit to the Uffizi Gallery and TripAdvisor's 'Near Me Now' tool led us here. It is an unassuming kiosk which, unless you were actively looking for it like we were, you would probably overlook. There isn't much in the way of seating other than a handful of stools but the sandwiches are... More

We found this lovely little place in the centre of Florence and are now regulars! inexpensive but good quality drinks and paninis! In the summer months you can sit outside and chat with the locals and will leave with change in your pocket! The owner will always make you laugh..great place

Looking for a quick beer at the end of an expensive day of leather shopping. Found piccolo vinaio on the edge of a small piazza. $2 big bots and people watching. Great place to preload......limited glasses so you may have to drink from the bottle. Enjoy.....

Nice little panino place near the Uffizi. I really like the option to put a sauce on the sandwich, that doesn't happen everywhere. We even stopped b just for an afternoon glass of wine :) The proprietor was friendly and joking, and great about helping us practice our Italian pronunciation. If you need a quick bite, this place is worth... More

A cult persona, Giacomino makes the most fresh and delicious sandwiches around! Super cheap, of great quality, and pretty generous! The must go place after a full day stroll in the Uffizi Gallery

stumbled across this after leaving the Uffizi gallery and what a find generous food portions totally, fresh food and cheap. Two sandwiches and two beers 11 euro. In London we would have paid at least £20 and got half the portion size. You need to try one of these sandwiches
