A nice cappuccino on the river of Florence, good place to spend your time with your coffee or your drink.

We (wife, 17 year old daughter and myself) were in Florence for about a month and visited il Rubaconte for coffee or light lunch probably 10 times. The young guys running the place are very friendly and the coffee drinks, sandwiches, wine, beer and entrees were all very good. It's a very nice room and located right across the street from... A hidden gem a few steps away from the tourist paths. We enjoyed awesome and reasonably priced Panini here. Young Florentians come here for a chat over coffee or working at their laptops.

While studying abroad in Florence I would stop in this cafe at least once a day if not twice. The brothers who work here are so friendly and great to talk to. The pastries and panini's are yummy, but their coffee is the best.

This was a nice little place to stop for a cafe macchiato. Great prices and wifi! Would recommend to any one that needs a little pick me up half way through the day or as a place for a true Italian breakfast.

Polite people working here with excellent espresso and pastries. Always interested in talking to whomever walks in. I go here every day at least twice a day and it's always the same warm welcome. They like to make jokes if you let them and they're funny people.

Arrived in Florence and past this place on the way to our hotel. Looked nice from the outside so gave it a go once we had dumped our bags. Had a salad and a sandwich with a couple of drinks. Also had coffee afterwards. Couldn't fault anything and was very reasonably priced. Staff were attentive and friendly, would definitely go... More
