Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great find for lunch we had a couple of Crostone's - lots of tasty bacon on one and salty anchovies on the other washed down with ice cold Heineken on tap! Tasty food and friendly owner we went back for dinner! Cold cuts of meats,...beautiful natural/fresh olives, tarty pomello and fresh bread with a nice bottle of reasonably priced sangiovese wine. Couldn't be better. Highly recommended - and very well priced!More

We ordered the college platter, it was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! The wine is also tasty and cheap! The friendly staff makes the picture complete. 5/5 would recommend this!

We visited a lot of bars in Florence but this was absolutely our favourite one! Authentic atmosphere, very well priced but high quality wines and bar food - our favourite part, however, was how kind and lovely the staff were here - thank you!

Stopped for quick dinner yesterday just before they closed. That wasn’t a problem and they did not rush us. We had lasagna, which could have been a bit warmer and Sciachiatta with caponata, spinach and broccoli, covered in cheese and toasted. Wow! It tasted brilliant....The whole bill with two Prosecco came to 18 euros. The owners were very friendly and approachable. They cared about your experience. Great place not to be missed!More

College is a trattoria/ sandwich restaurant. The homemade lasagna is amazing and the sandwiches are incredible. They offer many types of focaccia breads and a great selection of sandwich fillings. Very unique versions available or you can design your own. There are only 3 tables...outside on the street (which is closed to public traffic) but more seating inside.More

Great vibe and funky decor. Don’t be put off by the name, College. It has so much more character and flair than the neighboring cookie cutter restaurants. We stopped for a drink (great house wine) and devoured the endless aperitivos the owner provided. Highly recommend...if you are looking for something out of the box!More
