The pizza here (especially the Calzones) were AMAZINGGGG!! So good. And the waiter was really friendly and helpful. Also, it's very cheap and in a nice location. We went back 2 nights running as it was so good!

We found this place by accident and it was so great that we revisited it the second day! Great pizza, good prices, perfect service and sweet local atmosphere. We were shocked how quickly we got our pizzas. So worth it.

We had dinner here one time while staying in Florence and we really enjoyed our pizzas. Very reasonable prices and our attendant, Gianluca, was very polite and efficient.

Been to 10 pizzerias during this vacation. This was the worst. Mozzarella was rubbery, not fresh. Pepperoni pizza was drenched in oil, making crust soggy. Do NOT order the shrimp arugula salad. You will get 5 tiny (0.5cm sized ) previously frozen shrimps in a bowl of wilted arugula. Price seemed cheap on menu, but you really are paying too... More

We tried the fritto misto and octopus salad as starters and then shared a pizza. The fish was tough ie frozen and the pizza went soggy on us before we had finished it. Not what we had expected from a Neapolitan place at all.

We discovered this place by accident coming home from a show and we are so glad we did! The pizza was hands down the best I'he ever had, bar none. We loved it so much we went back the following 2 nights as well!! Can't recommend it highly enough. Great value for money too.

Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
