Luckily we were staying at a Hotel just a stone throw away from Grom and could enjoy the gelato. We tried different gelateries but none came close to the rich flavours of Grom. Line ups are constant because it is so good and worth the wait. Not as expensive as the ones on the Designer street close by.

I had read many good reviews here, so I decided to go. When I got there, they had a March menu, so I assume every month something new is placed. I didn't really like much of the flavors, but that's just me. I did want to try the lime, but I also wanted the chocolate but those two don't mix... More

Having stopped to have gelato in Pisa I was disappointed, it wasn't like what we had tried in northern Italy. We tried Grom from. Lonely planet recommendation. Best gelato in Florence FACT! It was amazing, I highly recommend you try here. We went after dinner on the way back to our hotel, it was Devine. A must!

This place is part of a chain, but their gelato is excellent and worth trying. The staff were very friendly. Apparently they have locations in NYC and Malibu. Wish they had one near me.

After a lovely dinner this was tge perfect place to finish it off with a wide selection of "on premises" made gelato & ice cream. The clearly care about what they make & it shows. Lovely.

One of the best taste of gluten-free icecream. Good service wonderful taste but there is no place to sit a bit to relax and enjoy the excellent taste. Either you should stand in small place or take a way.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
