Wonderful place of the main strip. Love the atmosphere and the decorations. Very affordable. Had a mixed sea food rice that was great.

When we visited on a Wednesday evening we were the only non Italian diners. The food was simple and nicely prepared. The house wine was very decent and very inexpensive. The sliced steak with rocket and parmesan was quite lovely, as was the cod with olives. Very friendly service Recommended for a non touristy, great value meal. We passed the... More

We stumbled across this place walking back from the Leaning Tower to the railway station. We were a little wary at first, and we weren't sure that the staff had understood our order (we, I'm ashamed to say can't speak any Italian!) We needn't have worried, the food was excellent, the wine was good and, despite the language barrier, we were... More

We had a lovely evening the food was OK. Admittedly we were late arriving maybe that was why the food was not at its best. The hospitality was great.

Off the tourist trail, but only just around the corner. As tourists we were in the minority - rarely a bad thing! Food and service excellent and a bill that was not catastrophic!

I was in a pleasure trip in Italy and from the hotel I have asked for a good trattoria in city. They explained that is not famous but they cook local food. Trattoria della Faggiola is a very small trattoria but a pork dish made in the toscan tradition was divine. I have asked for recipes and the people there... More

We wanted a place to sit and relax while waiting for our Pisa tower entry time, and walking around the tourist area was crowded and depressing. We found this place on a side street, and it had only one sign in English, "No PIZZA". That sounded promising as a non-tourist place, AND it also had wi-fi. So we were happy... More

Slightly off the main drag, superior food, quality and quantity, attentive service from the multitasking owner, Giuseppe. Great value. House wines at a remarkable 1.5 euros per glass. Try the seafood appetizer. Or the beef entree.

We literally stumbled across this place while out on a Sunday evening. The food was very good, especially the pasta and the cold meat platter and the house wine excellent. There was a real family feel to the staff and service, the two sisters, waitressing, were very friendly and stopped for a long chat at the end of the evening,... More
