We arrived late on a saturday evening expecting it to be too busy without a reservation but we immediately sat and swiftly ate a delicious meal. The owners and waiters don' t faff about much with fancy waiters' charm but I prefer that way it was just a comfortable place to eat. We are vegetarian and there was no problem... More

The food here is fabulous. Nonna is always in the kitchen making something delicioso and her stuffed gnocchi is the best!

I'm astounded by the bad reviews here. We ate here for the second time in two years and were extremely happy again. My husband and I had veal chop and a veal cutlet. Very good but not at all fancy. The gentleman who seated us could be described as gruff I guess but I took him as just down-to-earth.The service... More

It's said that in the Italian cuisine pecking order, an osteria ranks below a trattoria which ranks below a restaurante. But we've never had a tastier lunch than at Nonna Gina! My wife and I order one primo and one secondo and split them both which lets us taste more, provide a little portion control and hold down the bill.... More

We didn't enjoy the place!!! The food was a disaster !!! I ordered meat but I was eating a chewing-gum! The waiters were terrible! I asked for oil and vinegar and she refused to give me and when I asked her the cause she told me it was in the menu! They were disturbed as we pushed the table, which... More

This is when the shower of reviews drives you on a wrong choice- we were like you, impressed by the nbr of reviews that this resto gathered, we went and we were very badly surprised- staff is impolite-pushing us to get served and leave-very had house wine-transistor with radio music!-zero effort of communication with clientele , I am sure other restaurants... Better review if the food were more consistent. Some was terrific (I ate a lovely veal chop). Some was average. Even off season they seemed overworked and understaffed. We went two nights. Seconds night the food was just OK. So, depends on what you order, I guess. I'd say it is worth a try, but not a trip. So if... More

Had a nice a meal. pasta, steak and salad. Everything was nicely prepared, al dante Pici pasta, good salad, nice wild boar steak. I had to reduce one star, the pasta a bit salty for me. Actually, it was seasoned more like an american restaurant. Service was good and they gave us complimentary amaretto which finished off the meal nicely.

We read about this place on Tripadvisor and wanted to try it. We were happy with our dinner and would eat there again. I ordered a papperdelli with cinghiale, wild boar sauce, and the portion was good and generous.

You have to try the gnocchi- you get about 8 giant gnocchi stuffed with a secret cheese cream sauce and an amazing creamy pesto sauce. I seriously thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Only €8.50 too! And we were given a choice of ammareto or grappa as digestives. Don't miss this delightful restaurant
