We have eaten here several times during our month long stay in Assisi and always receive a warm welcome and excellent service. The menu is extensive, food is always cooked perfectly and well presented. It's always a pleasure to return here and Il Menestrello has...More
I recently stayed in Assisi for 8 days and dined at Ristorante Pizzeria il Menestrello on Via San Gregorio twice. There are a variety of wonderful Italian pasta and meat dishes on the menu but I would say that their specialty is their thin-crusted pizza,...More

We stopped in for an early dinner and we hit the jackpot. The floor has lots of glass to showcase the underlying excavations of mosaic flooring. We weren't exceptionally hungry and ordered only pizza and dessert. Both were perfectly prepared and reflected lots of attention...More
How can a supposedly good restaurant (per TripAdvisor) get Caesar salad not only wrong but bland; and pizza tasteless. I suspect the rating are because it is a lot of food for a low price (in Assisi anyway). My suggestion - try elsewhere.
