We went here a couple of times for lunch. It was busy each time, but we still felt personally well attended to. The food had a home cooked feel to it, healthy and tasty. The prices were very reasonable and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Stopped here for lunch on a chilly, rainy day - and were warmly welcomed. Placed at a table near the glass door (which was then closed so we were out of the draft!) The food was good (we both had pasta),the portions nice, the price very reasonable. We did not have wine, as we had more sightseeing to do, but... More

I visited for lunch and was really pleased to be offered a table outside with the beautiful view. When the pasta arrived it was stone cold in places and only slightly warm in others. I mentioned this to the owner who arranged for another to be made which was much better. Unfortunately though, the service was very unfriendly and disinterested... More

we tried this place by accident looking for some other place but it started raining and just stopped day for a quick lunch and it came to be one of the best meals we had in Italy, homemade food, delicious house wine, the owner was really kind and we just loved it and also very affordable!! I will definitely be... More

I wouldn't go over the top about the lunch but it was perfectly adequate for the middle of the day. We both had pasta (small portions) which was tasty enough and the house wine wasn't a bad price. There weren't many tables outside and they were popular so service was swift to say the least.

Just off the main thoroughfare, this little Osteria is worth taking a break at. The owner was lovely and seated us so that we could take in the view. For a lunchtime menu it was perfect. The typical Umbrian soup is a must. The local wine was just perfect. An excellent price for a lunchtime meal. Get away from the... More

Food was good and price was fair, so fine. We asked for a portion of antipasti to share and we were 4. They bring us 3 slices of cheese. I mean, if you are a clever host, why don't you add a fourth slice? you know, just to keep us happy? We complained but we weren't made happy. So one... More

My wife, Mary Ellen and I spent the first week of 2016 in Assisi, and for all the traveling we've done around the world (this was our 4th Italian trip, and we were there 18 days this time) there is no place we've enjoyed more than Assisi. One significant reason (besides the many obvious) is this restaurant with such gourmet... More

Chanced upon this osteria on the way from St. Francis Basilica to St. Clare's church. This was a good place to rest during the trip. The wild boar was very good! So was the porchetta! The truffle pasta and the penne were just ok.
