We ordered the cheese fondue (half and half) for two and some drinks. The fondue (which was accompanied by small bowl of potatoes and a large bread basket) was so bad we couldn't even eat it due to its bitterness. The wine and beer chosen from their specials list was okay. The staff was decent.

We decided on the Loetschberg as it is well known for Swiss specialities. We ordered two different fondues, a mild "moite moite" and a stronger version. Both were delicious. We were surprised to be served potatoes as well as bread cubes. There was plenty of choice for those who preferred a meat dish. The service was friendly and the atmosphere... More

Fancy a Fondue or Raclette? This is the place to go. Add a little "Mountain-Romantic" by having it in Winter, outside, in the 2 Person gondula with candlelight... ;-)

While the fondue was just ok, the other items were great. Particularly the salads and pasta-like dishes Good selection of food on the menu But it's very Swiss/German, so you'll need to like that type of cuisine Service was poor Please give this review a thumbs up

A rating of 3 because if you want Cheese Fondue you must get two orders…and that is way too much cheese even when you love fondue and cheese. The staff could not have been any more pleasant, except for the massive amount of fondue. It was very good but not near the best we have ever had. That had these... More

An early evening dinner enabled my to get a seat in a restaurant that was packed by 1930 on a Wednesday evening (a sunny spring evening so I think people were rolling in having basked in the sunshine at pavement bars). I recommend you book to save a table. I was disappointed that the delicious-looking fondue on my neighbour's table... More

Went with family and enjoyed it. It was a little pricey but what isn't in Switzerland. Very traditional cuisine with friendly staff. Good fondue and huge salads. Staff speak French and English as well and no waiting for a table on a busy Saturday night. A little mix up with the bill at the end but we did rush out... More

We had to try some Fondue while in Switzerland, so we stopped in. When we arrived it was very busy and we had to wait, unfortunately their was no space at the bar so we were forced to stand. One of the waiters came up to us because we clearly looked like confused Americans got us a free beer and... More

We've been there for an after business day in Bern. keen on eating a fondue, we were disappointed with the one we had. It didn't melt properly and was pretty liquid. The waiter was super friendly and a good advice on wine. Not sure we'd like to go back to be honest...

Excellent Swiss cuisine made from local produce. We had the veal escalopes and Swiss sausage both with potato rosti and both dishes tasted delicious. Big portions too. As tourists we found the restaurant to be expensive however by Swiss standards it's reasonably priced and one of the cheaper restaurants we found. Trendy decor and good atmosphere. Only downfall was the... More
