This was the first restaurant we ate at on 2 week trip to Switzerland. We order a few different things and everything was great. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

As the "Lötschberg" is well known for Swiss specialities I booked a table for friends from abroad to give them an understanding of our culture. A big plus is the large variety of the menu. The staff was okay but not super friendly.

If you want cheese-based Swiss food, this is the place. The rest of the food is also nice. I ate here twice on my trip. The service was excellent either when dining alone or with a group of 9. IPA on tap was a nice surprise, as most restaurants I went to only had lager.

I have heard of it and always got a very possitive feed back. I can also share this opinion now. We ate different swiss meals and all of them were very tasty

We enjoyed some popular Swiss dishes including a mushroom spaetzli that was amazing. They feature only Swiss wines and beers so were able to taste a few. The appetizer featuring dry meats was excellent. We would recommend to anyone wanting to try some authentic Swiss food.

My wife and I went here for an evening cheese fondue. It was fully booked but we were invited to wait by the bar until a table got ready. It did after a 15 to 20 minutes which we found quite acceptable. For the rest of our evening dinners in the old town however, we did book tables well ahead... More

Shortly after having eaten at the Lötschberg I started to get bowl cramps and diarrhoea for two full days. I definitely won't go back. The food wasn't great either.

Came here at the recommendation of the receptionist at the Schweizerhof. Booked a table and, boy, was I glad I had - it was absolutely packed, being a super-popular place with locals. I can get why. Fondues do cry out to be shared - so the perfect place for a couple or a group. A team of young, energetic staff... More

We ordered the cheese fondue (half and half) for two and some drinks. The fondue (which was accompanied by small bowl of potatoes and a large bread basket) was so bad we couldn't even eat it due to its bitterness. The wine and beer chosen from their specials list was okay. The staff was decent.

We decided on the Loetschberg as it is well known for Swiss specialities. We ordered two different fondues, a mild "moite moite" and a stronger version. Both were delicious. We were surprised to be served potatoes as well as bread cubes. There was plenty of choice for those who preferred a meat dish. The service was friendly and the atmosphere... More
