We recently discovered this small and very good Japanese restaurant. A nice variety of sushi and brochette and all kind of sashimi. Simple place but excellent food and smiling service. Price on the range of other good Japanese restaurants in Geneva. Well located and close to parking. Recommended

Hashimoto serves relatively good sushis for Geneva. Unfortunately, (1) the waiting time to order and get what you have ordered is ridiculously long. (2) they often mix your order with others. (3) they often do not have half of what is in the menu. (4) if you complain, they start screaming at you in Japanese and act aggressively. Would I... More

Small family restaurant run by Japanese family. If you want to try truly Japanese food (not only sushi) in a simple traditional atmosphere- this is the right place. The secret which makes the difference is none frozen fish, which is a key in Japanese cuisine, but not the case of other restaurants in Geneva.

This small restaurant, no far from the Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle in Geneva, does not excell for its decoration, which is quite simple and unpretentious, however, the food is a different matter. I am passionate about Japanese cousine, specially the sushi and the sashimi, and in Hashimoto I have tasted some of the best, and believe you me I have tried... More

The place is small, intimate and the food is very good...japanese cuisine that is. The choice is very wide and if you love sushi, you must try it out. It is expensive though...

Fantastic sushi, fresh fish, best sushi ever had in Europe. The place is small and often crowded, perfect for a romantic date, too intimate for business, ok for lunch with friends.

Only recently discovered this restaurant. The nigiri was outstanding and the appetizers we ordered as well. Strange thing the service was below expectations I think I had to do with the fact that during our lunch on Saturday a delivery truck arrived throwing the restaurant into confusion the cook and 2 other people from the kitchen had to come to... This is real japonese food, best fish quality ever, very fresh, many choice, taste I never found anywhere alse before, very authentic japonese chef, service very kind and nice, a great place, you go there if you really want and love to eat fish with no unnecessery "chichis" like mayonaise which would be a pity!

Thank Marion L
