It looks like a fun place from the outside. They hang linens, garments, and even underwear in the window, imitating the way Portuguese people dry their garments. Inside, it's a different story, very nicely decorated and arranged, with the staff dressed in Portuguese finery all set to offer a good dinner to the Swiss guests. We tried two different fish,... I went there with my boyfriend for dinner. The waitress was very kind and we really enjoyed the service. However the place looked dirty, it needs heavy renovation, smell of chlorine in the toilet. When the chef came to the dining hall he did not look appropriate and I did not have a feeling that there are simple hygiene standards being... More

This is the place to Go in Geneva for good healthy food, a warm welcome and good atmosphere. In a little side street by the lake on the eaux vives side, it is easy to miss but worth the effort!

The food is delicious especially the fish baked in cabbage on a wooden tray -- dramatic and tasty, especially the bread cooked with it. The portions are very generous and the decor is charming if slightly cheesy. The owner is a great host -- very attentive and with a great sense of humor. Overall an excellent meal out with good... I spent almost three years living in Portugal (the North where all the best food comes from!) and so am very familiar with traditional Portuguese food. I'm currently in Geneva and craving Portuguese flavours and after spotting this place on a walk one day, decided to come back for dinner. First thing we noticed- a bottle of "gazela" (a cheap,... Though Geneva has one of the largest Portuguese comunities in the world, that is not yet reflected in the quality of Portugueses restaurants. The Tasca do Primo may be the best Portuguese restaurant in town, but the food is not brilliant. Anyway, deserves a try.

We went to Geneva for a day and found this lovely restaurant close to the lake. It is an authentic place with great Portuguese food, wine and background music from Portugal. The service was great and we were also greeted by the owner of the restaurant who asked how our meal was and whether we liked the place. It was... More
