Hotel owned by the Swedes in Engelberg, Switzerland. Superttevlig atmosphere. Very good menu, well-prepared food with a French twist, good wine list and cozy and pleasant setting. I recommend you to visit this restaurant. Book a table as it is popular.

We stayed at the Ski Lodge and ate the skiers dinner 4 days in a row. The menu was new every evening and contained everything you can dream of. Food was presented very nicely and tasted fantastic. The staff were very friendly but some of them perhaps a bit inexperienced. One evening they mixed up some orders and appeared to... More

I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times, and the same applies for all three visits: very good food, very good and quick service, small portions, and somewhat pricy. Part of the story is that I am 6' 4" and well trained, so I need a lot of food. But, after having 3 course dinners I expect to be full,... More

My husband has been coming to Engelberg for a few years to ski and this was my first visit. He had noticed the restaurant on previous trips, knew I would like it and wanted to take me there to celebrate my first ski lesson! We had a lovely evening. The food was local and excellent. We started with a Prosecco... More

I spent a few nights at the hotel and ate here both nights and opted for the prix fix skier's dinner. Outstanding food paired with really good wines by the glass. Very comfortable and as a solo traveler I felt good eating, drinking, conversing with the staff and catching up on email during lovely meals. The meals were nicely sized... More

We started with terrific Swiss brad and a mixed salad. The entree was a tasty beef stew with vegetables. The mashed potatoes were yellow because they contained so much butter!

We stayed 2 nights at the Ski Lodge Hotel and had dinner both nights. The first meal was because of rain we decide to stay in the building and a wonderful meal. It was a Stew with meat & vegetables which was as good or better that I have had in the States. Salad and very nice desert. We went... More

We enjoyed our trip to Brasserie Konrad and I was a little surprised by some of the more negative reviews it has received. Maybe after living in Switzerland I have become immune to the high prices. My wife and I ordered from the main menu and both enjoyed our main courses of Shark and cabbage head. My kids were able... More

I visited first time this nice looking Brasserie with my wife and friends. The atmosphere of the place, including the bar and brasserie was very promising and very Swedish in the good way. Also the food was tasty and stood out nicely from the usual local Swiss kitchen, so the potential exists there really for this kind of kitchen. The... More
