Ruth and Franz Wiget have transformed a beautiful Swiss chalet into an amazing Restaurant. The food is scrumptious and always beautifully presented. The surroundings and the view from the terrace of the restaurant are magical.

I took my husband-to-be (yes he knows that too) to Adelboden for a surprise birthday lunch last year. We had the set menu and it was simply stunning. The service and view were great too! Highly recommended but pricey!

we went for a saturday lunch to have something special for my birthday. It was special indeed. The house is up the hill with a great view if the weather permits. For the summer there is a terrace. Now with the autumn weather we are inside. An old house with low ceiling and wooded walls, great atmosphere and cosy. Not... More

Not enough superlatives to describe the evening. Definitely worth the journey and the money. Go the full tasting menu just for the experience.

The Adelboden restaurant is well worth the journey as it is some distance from where we stayed. The traditional Swiss atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel very welcome. The freshly baked bread and magnificent dishes prepared by Franz Wiget-Keiser and his team were much appreciated and of course enjoyed. Remember to make a reservation to avoid being disappointed as... More

Franz and Ruth Wiget are THE quality host one can only wish for. Top professional yet easy going. The food is absolutely a class on its own, the service makes you feel at home - fine with a classic simplicity. This is a MUST GO for any food lover visiting the region.

Not many other restaurants in the world could top their service and their food. The service crew was small, but as we went there for lunch, we were served to the best. Service is not very cordial, but extremely professional, which is the point in a restaurant like that. The culinary creations were stunning and just so pleasant, we have... More

The restaurant is a few miles away from the city of Schwyz aside the cantonal road. Basically in the middle of nowhere. As you enter the restaurant you immediately feel well: the dining-room is cosy with its wooden walls and nice set tables. The staff is immediately with you and provided great service throughout the meal. We opted for the... More
