The food here while being expensive was excellent. Just be careful when you book, I thought I was booking the Teppanyaki table however when we arrived a group had taken all the seats so we were just in the main dining area. It was not really a problem for us as we just ordered off the menu and the food... More

From the moment we entered the restaurant we felt very welcome. Such a nice and kind service. We took one of the fish (tuna) sashimi menus and enjoyed every course of it. It all was delicious and fresh. Service was great, when not being able to opt for one taste of icecream, we got two!

Staff seemed a little surly, but the tempura was excellent - light and crispy, and the miso soup was equally fine

Having been taken to some good restaurants in Japan, I am often suspicious of Japanese restaurants. However, Myoko did not disappoint. The menu was very traditional with sushi, sashimi and tempura. The three of us each took a different menu and shared what we got. We had the tuna, fish and tempura menus and enjoyed all the dishes. I thought... More

Food was good to a point but certainly not worth the steep price. 30CHF for 3 pieces of shrimp tempura is a but excessive. We ordered the spicy tuna maki is basically 6 pieces of tuna maki with about half a bottle of Siracha sauce poured all over it; a disgrace. It was so spicy we couldn’t finish them. Rest... More

You walk in for Japanese food and you find yourself in a show! Service is impecable and the cooks are really well trained to serve "by the fire". Food is awesome. And... what a surprise... a very interesting wine list. Quite uncommon. A very pleasant experience.

We love Japanese food and we love to go to Japan. This place positioned as a good Japanese restaurant, but this is a very simple place without any gourmet food. Just simple sushi, sashimi, tempura and so on with a very average quality of everything. Do not expect something extraordinary. Just one of the thousands average Japanese restaurants across the... We were lucky to walk in late at 9pm and get a table, even though both our travel agent AND our hotel Mont Cervin Palace moved our reservations, when we walked in they had no idea and no reservations. We were seated upstairs in the corner away from the hibachi grills. The service started out good, the miso soup with... More

The entrance looks like if you're getting into into a temple. Inside though we felt like sitting at a Mc Donald's along a highway-inn, so crowded with little noisy children it was. The ambiance was simply horrifying. Not a curtain along the windows, nothing at all to make this restaurant somewhat cosy ! The service was alike, but the food... More
