Our last restaurant in Zermatt after a weeks skiing and a gem! A bit tough to find but worth it (and fun!). Our meal was delicious and wine recommended was perfect. Lovely setting surrounded by very old buildings. A must visit place for lunch!!!

Fantastic lunch on a sunny Zum See restaurant. We were dining outside in a historic in-yard of an old Swiss farmhouse. Fancy, classic and still both historic and so relevant set up. Menu filled with classics and tasty picks. Lovely sole, tasty kidneys, very nice calf liver and classic fish soup. Good wines and great appetizers. Make sure you turn... More

We were recommended by a friend to visit the restaurant, and booked a table for lunch at 14:00h. When we arrived the restaurant was full both inside and out, a good sign. The staff were busy but very professional and quickly found our booking and table, one of the outside tables under the canapy. Very bustling filled with skiers taking... More

This is our favourite restaurant on the slopes in Zermatt. Beautiful quaint location in the valley up to Furi, with the lovely old restaurant building set amongst small old wooden cow sheds and studios. Highly recommended for Rosti, calves liver, fish soup and the Napoleon dessert.

If you are seeking out that special mountain lunch in classic atmosphere with great wine Zum Zee must tick all the boxes. Marcus and the staff are first class, the food amazing accompanied by authentic Swiss chalet setting around a beautiful courtyard. Totally recommend the fish soup with saffron and anything from the extensive wine list. ⛷😎🍾🍷🥂 One of our... More

The food was very good, without forgetting the Mille feuille which is a specialty. However, it is overrated and pricey compared to what you can get elsewhere in Zermatt. I always enjoy the skiing down to town from the restaurant

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20+ years & the food, service & cosistency remains the same as ever. From the smallest of kitchens come culinary masterpieces. Particularly recommend sweetbreads, liver, lamb & prawns, but simple rosti & omelette is equally well received. The famous creme schnitte has to be the best pudding in the Alps - go.........!!

This restaurant is situated in a charming old house on the mountain slope above Zermatt. Delicious chocolate mouse.
