Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you can get a seat in this busy place, this is the real deal. Lovely setting, authentic food, friendly service, nice price. Truly the best crepes in town… by far.

I went there many times and I was always really satisfied by the efficient and polite service. There is always someone to welcome you in the entrance and even when they are fully booked they will try to squeeze you in as long as you...leave before the reservation arrives. Really accommodating. The place is also really clean. The food is always nice and they are moderately priced. Also, the atmosphere inside is really nice and somewhat resembles that of a Swiss chalet with a lot of wood. There is a nice warm feel when you are inside. They are also conveniently located not far from the Palud square in Lausanne, so quite central. They are always packed so making a reservation is preferable. The only improvement that they should maybe consider would be to widen their menu in order to include more options for customers that are vegan. I definitely recommend and I will consider returning next time I am in Lausanne.More

Busy Creperie with authentic cuisine. We were lucky to walk in and get a table at this busy place for lunch. We sat outside where they provided us with blankets to keep warm. We ordered crepes, coffee, and fresh squeezed lemonade. Wonderful lunch!!

Well they have definitely the best crêpes in Lausanne, but among other crêpes I've tried elsewhere, even in France (not in Bretagne yet), they are still the best. Try their Royal or Monsieur Seguin to start with and continue the journey with a sous-bois, you...won't be disappointed.More

I visited La Creperie La Chandeleur one afternoon after the lunch rush. It was packed the day before at noon, so I returned after 2 p.m. and had no problem getting a table. I enjoyed their suggested daily crepe, which was with goat cheese and...olive pate, very well prepared. I also sampled the sugar crepe which was delicious. Overall a very nice lunch! Service was friendly.More

The weather is humid and hot, so having a lovely light crepe like this was perfect! Plus accompanied by a sweet cider, this was a nice discovery in the town where I live!😊

We walked in on a Saturday night and were very lucky to get a table. Tip: make reservations! We had sweet crepes which were very tasty.

The salad is nothing more than some vegetables combined next to each other on a plate. No sauce, nothing to even try to make it a salad. The corn tasted as it came straight out of a can too. Pancakes are nothing special either, disappointing...and overpriced.More

Good place to grab some lunch if you’ve been out walking all morning. In terms of elevation, I’d say this place is about halfway up the hill, so it shouldn’t be too arduous to get there if you’re in the vicinity of the old city....You can choose to sit either inside or outside (I chose to sit inside). As you can imagine from the name, this restaurant specializes in crepes, so you should definitely try one of their many options. They also have coffee and other small things available. All in all, whether you get a dessert crepe or a more normal meal crepe, you can get a solid and good-tasting meal here.More

The crepes they propose are of large variety but poor quality. For a restaurant like that, to have the cheapest salmon possible and canned mushrooms is a shame !

Really nothing out of the ordinary, the choice of crepes sarazzin are quite basic, i was expecting a little more when reading the other reviews. Crepes were without surprise. Cheese, mushroom, ham.. yea ok. Not very hard to match that at home. Just the “pleasure”...to not have to cook. Served quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Service was ok.More

The staff is very friendly and nice, customer service is great. But the food is amazing! I would say the same as the previous one, don't skip the desert or you will regret it forever. I mean it is so delicious, every bite you do...is just pure enjoyment. I've never eaten creps as good as this ones. I was super sad when I realized that it is closed on Monday.More

I enjoyed dinner on the patio on a beautiful evening. The atmosphere was outstanding, especially with the bells being rung at the cathedral. I had a savory crepe for dinner and an outstanding crepe with wild berries for desert. The desert crepe was sublime... I’m...getting hungry for one now just thinking about it.More
