A perfect lunch starting with a delicious apéro on the delightful terrace. Inside the service was perfect and the menu découvert exceptional. Every dish was beautifully conceived and executed. The wine pairing of Swiss wines was exactly right. Many thanks also for the lovely anniversary...cake to finish.More

Excellent diner experience. All taste buds (and we) were happy. Coming into detail, the dessert with figs was nice but not outstanding, a little bit out of tune with the other courses. The wine list was excellent, though wine suggestions accompanying the menu were whether...(too) simple or (just) overdone, making choosing ‘fitting’ wines with the courses rather challenging (A simple white wine like champagne, Bocuse would suggest)More

Anne-Sophie Pic at Beau-Rivage Palace deserves a 3rd Michelin Star. We experienced not only exceptional food but enjoyed world-class, lively service in an idyllic, romantic setting. We dined at Crissier the next day and were left confused how the inspectors at Michelin have awarded three...stars to Crissier while only awarding two stars to Anne-Sophie Pic’s phenomenal performance, which entailed numerous captivating, technically impressive, and memorable courses alongside the beautiful shore of Lac Léman. Perhaps most memorable was the convivial waitstaff, who engaged in delightful, humorous conversation while maintaining impeccable attention to detail, even when compared to other leading restaurants such as the 3-starred Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare in New York City. We cannot recommend Anne-Sophie Pic highly enough.More

On our European trips, we make a point of going to at least one Michelin star restaurant. We are so happy we chose ASP. Everything was perfection. Housed in the Beau Rivage Hotel, the doorman greeted us and walked us to the restaurant. The staff...were faultless, both welcoming and professional. They also made a point to speak English in our presence so as not to feel like they were talking about us. The food was nothing short of exquisite. We enjoyed the vibrant colours and flavours with each course. The presentation was equally enjoyable as the food itself. We also appreciated ingredients you wouldn't normally put together. ASP, in our opinion, deserves 3 stars.More

I have eaten at a few 1-stars, and one 3-start (Hotel de la Ville, Crissier) and this was definitely a disappointment The location, ambiance, staff all were exceptional, all the little pieces were exactly what I expected (high expectations) But in the end, out of...all of our food, nothing was exceptional! Some interesting tastes, some cool presentations - but nothing was memorable as amazing cuisine So, a bit of a disappointment. Everything was fine until the start. After paying a bill of 2000 chf, we left the restaurant, my wife, my daughter and me. It was then that a restaurant employee caught up with us accusing us of not having paid, telling him that we had...paid the bill, he told us with confidence that it was not possible because he was the only one responsible for collection. After a long wait, he came back to us, barely apologizing, telling us that everything was in order. False accusation of nonpayment is probably punished by law and certainly by good education behavior. Is it necessary to remember that a 'great' restaurant must be a positive experience from A to Z, that the setting, the service, the attention must also be at the level of the menu? In short we will not return and will not recommend this table.More

We had an incredible dinner at Anne-Sophie Pic. When we arrived, we were offered to sit out on the terrace for an aperitif, which was delightful. We were offered champagne and a few small bites to go along with it. It was so pleasant sitting...outside looking at the beautiful view to start our evening. We did the tasting menu and wine pairing and everything was exceptional. We started with the tomato dish. Everything was fresh, and the burrata ice cream was a nice touch. Next were the vegetal berlingots, a mushroom dish that's a signature on all of Anne-Sophie Pic's menus. I can see why - it was a delicious bowl of umami with each component contributing to the complexity of the dish. For the next course, we really enjoyed the sole. A perfect piece of fish. Next up was the venison. It was well cooked and well executed. It also came with a tart of ground venison on the side. The cheese course was an interesting one, with one of the cheeses being served as a mousse. It was a nice play on a traditional cheese course. Finally, for dessert we had the chocolate and the white peach options. Both were a lovely way to finish the meal. The beverage program was very creative. For example, to go along with the cheese course, they served beer. Given wine and cheese is such a classic pairing, they are clearly innovating and trying to go beyond simply what people expect. One of the standout wines was a Riesling. While Riesling is typically too sweet for our taste, this version from Germany was balanced and tasty. The service was great. Very attentive but never overbearing. Highly recommend dining at this restaurant. You'll be in for a treat!More

Overall it was clearly excellent but some service related flaws showed why it does not rate three Michelin stars. These included not having taken note of the dietary preferences sent in advance; some carelessness over amuse-bouches; an unsatisfactorily explained twenty minute delay in serving the...main course and too quick and quiet explanations about dish composition. There was no doubting the outstanding quality of execution and presentation of the food.More

The location on the terrace of the Beau-Rivage Palace was picture perfect, with a clear view over the lake; the service was welcoming and impeccable--it was like watching choreography...efficient yet so friendly; and the food...wonderful. We enjoyed the special lunch menu + cheese board, and...every dish was delicious, complex and interesting. (Lunch was a great time to visit, with no trouble getting a reservation the day before.) They recognized my needs as someone with celiac, and easily adjusted the menu to be gluten-free for me. We paired the lamb with a Shiraz from the canton of Valais, a great suggestion by one of the servers, Christopher. And we celebrated an anniversary and the team marked it in a special way. `We aren't "foodies" but certainly appreciated this wonderful time at ASP. Thank you to the service team and the chef and his staff. Be sure to give yourself lots of time to enjoy everything the restaurant has to offer--our lunch was an incredibly enjoyable 2.5 hours!More

The dinner at ASP in BRP was one of the most memorable dinners ever. Everything was perfect, interesting, surprising and sublime - the ambiance, tableware, service and fantastic dishes. Most dishes had surprising and amazing flavours. We especially liked winter berlingot with truffles, soft cheese...dish from Gstaad and white mille feullie. The beef was also amazing. Few days after this dinner we dined at the 3* Hotel de Ville in Crissier, and we liked our dinner in ASP much better, more memorable and surprising.More
