The food is terrific, the portions are the biggest I have ever seen in Switzerland, and it is really great value for money. The restaurant is very basic, chaotic and busy. You can sometimes wait even when you reserve. The weekends are crazy with people queuing outside to get in. The food is worth the wait though. The leftovers are... More

Please be hungry when you go there, as the portions are quite big and delicious. When a dish is considered spicy ... be aware, it is spicy. I love their Jasmine tee too.

Not a place to go for a romantic dinner but if you want good authentic Chinese food then this is the best in the area that we have found. The food isn't fancy either in style or presentation but generally it's simple tasty food at a reasonable price. One of our favorites.

I am so happy that I found this amazing restaurant in Lausanne. I love sechuan food and Chez Xu does not disappoint. Always cramped and noisy, but outstanding food at lowest prices I have seen in Switzerland. Will come back.

Looks like familial business. Staffs are not speaking very well french nor english but they understand the basics and are very nice. The seats are small and not so that confortable.

The taste is authentic, with big portions, and a small price. I come here every month or so and I have never found a better place for asian food in Lausanne. But remember that this place is really authentic, all the workers are asian and do not speak really well english nor french (although the menu is translated). The place... More

Been living in Lausanne for the past 8 years. This is by far the best Chinese food in town, both in terms of quality and quantity for money.

The dishes are considered authentic chinese cuisine and portions are generous for a restaurant located in Switzerland. Service is quick and staff are friendly. A must try for travellers who miss Chinese food. You will be satisfied.

Went on a Saturday night at 8:30 with no reservation, the restaurant was full but we were seated fairly quickly. The place is not regarded as tiny but they have managed to pack quite a number of chairs and tables on the main floor. We ordered the chicken soup for entree, it was refreshing, fragrant and delicious for a winters... More

This restaurant is not the right place for a romantic dinner... But for real Chinese food your at the right address. I've ordered fried chicken with Cantonese rise, great taste, very crispy. Tipp, order a sauce, otherwise it is a bit boring. The portions a really big, you can take the rest with you for the next day. ;-) As... More
