While this appeared to be a good choice given proximity to the main square, we waited for almost an HOUR to get our food. The waiter was quite rude, would not help when we tried to select the dishes and did not respond to our questions regarding the menu or why we had to wait for so long. The food... More

That part of Lausanne is not full of restaurants so even if the restaurant does not shine in a dark evening of early March, we did give it a chance. Good for us!! I had the best perch filets for years. Simple but tasty and generous.

Seated outside, early April on a mostly sunny day. Service was good, food very good and priced nicely, especially for Switzerland. We had lunch and we both enjoyed our food very much. As a tourist, it was enjoyable to be able to just sit and take in the surroundings, although I wouldn't call it a "view property" it was still... More

We were very surprised at how good the food was in the quality of service was after reading some of the somewhat negative reviews. The dishes were inventive, well flavored, and very tasty. The servers were attentive and service was prompt and professional. Highly recommend. Very close to the metro stop.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions when in Lausanne, and have always enjoyed the experience. However, this time, neither the food nor the service was to the previous standard. Disappointing.

A place with local and foreigner with terrace in the pedestrian place in front of the town hall. Good to stop just for a coffee or a full meal when visiting the city. Nice food and service made by friendly people. Good value for money.

Original and attractive presentation of unusual and tasty dishes, great pizzas, generous servings and all round well prepared food. Only one minor hiccup: accoustics not great...Noisy. Otherwise, pleasant and good value.

We took a break from marketplace shopping to have a lunch at this local staple. The restaurant is located in the heart of the pedestrian part of the old city, right in front of the medieval fountain and animated musical clock. We enjoyed the traditional dandelion salad with hard boiled eggs and freshly sauteed bacon pieces, which is a traditional... More

From a fairly unassuming exterior, you go upstairs into a restaurant that is smart, stylish and yet not pretentious. Although not committed vegetarians, we choose a non-meat dish as it offered originality from the same-old dishes in England. We were not disappointed. A wonderful dish, very well presented, and a delight to eat. We followed with the Chocolate fondants. The... More
