We came here because this fancy looking place was actually one of the cheaper restaurants on the street. The food was absolutely delicious although we didn't order any appetisers or desserts as it was all too expensive.

I have just went 2 times to this restaurant whose management recently changed. The new formula is quite attractive with daily menus around SFR 21.-- each day including starter and main course. The first time i took a cheese fondue (one of the few restaurants which does fondue for 1) and it was great. The second time i took the... More

Looks like at was locals eating here. Had a nice homey feel to the place. Food was good. Had steak and potatoes. Beer was superb, as it should be in Switzerland. Enjoyable dinner in a lively atmosphere.

I like this place because the atmosphere on the closed terrace is quite romantic - with a nice view of the usually lively street -- and the food is good. It's not as noisy as many Lausanne restaurants, it's well located, and the new staff are attentive and nice. The interior is quite interesting, with old street-lamps as decor.

Bistro food and good beer served by friendly staff. Located at the edge to the old town, close to the Ibis central hotel.

Rotten lettuce, insects in the plate, terrible service and atmosphere in this expensive, traditional restaurant. Nothing seems fresh or homemade. Glasses taste like soap.

Place with history and authentic style with a fresh touch of a talented team of chefs and servers. The menu is brilliant and all my friends and family members adored whatever they tried. The choice of finely selected wines and beers is impressive! They also thought about those who don't eat meat but still want to accompany the lovers of... More

Average food and service that are over priced - seems to be stuck between restaurant , cafe and bar concept - atmosphere over lap between the 3 spoils any chance of nice meal . Staff were freindly and helpful but lacking in expertise expected for the prices charged .

I have been a regular client for about 13 years. You never be disappointed as the food always is OK. One nice thing is that the chef also makes seasonal dishes. For me it’s very well placed in the centre of town as I’m here normally for work.

All "good" restaurants in and around Lausanne (guide Michelin) were full up, so I found a table here. I had good asparagus with raw ham, and fish with french fried and salad. Everything was not gorgeous, but not bad at all. Wine, suggested by the very, very nice waitress, was good. Price correct for Switzerland.
