Delicious pastries and chocolate. Also great place to have a breakfast or lunch but it is very hard to find a free table. It is crowded almost every day. Must visit chocolate store downstairs and taste one of the best chocolate in the world.

Very nice shop that felt both like an authentic shop and a little bit like a tourist shop. Great chocolate and great hot chocolate and nice gifts for the family back home. Solid.

If you want to experience what a typical Swiss institution is, go to central Zurich located Sprungli. On the ground floor you have the impressive chocolate and pastry shop (and there is really something for everyone's taste!). On the first floor you have the - often very busy - coffee place-restaurant-brasserie where you can have breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea/coffee, apero,... More

But we found it at Zurich airport. Nice friendly staff and a welcome place to refuel while awaiting our flight back to the UK post a Christmas holiday in and around Lucerne. When awaiting a flight search this place out, think you will enjoy.

Always looks stunning, inside display and window, very inviting. Every thing looks so delicious and delicate. First class quality. For an expat visiting is a must. Every trip to Zürich has do include a couple of visits to Sprüngli. My favourite is the delicate butter pretzel, soft and filled with first class butter and they have the most delicious "Birchermüsli".... More

So, first of all, make sure you visit the main one on Bahnhofstrasse. This has an upstairs cafe on the 1st floor. This one that is linked on TripAdvisor is just a shop - no seating area or cafe vibe. The selection of chocolate and macaroons are amazing with loads of different types, flavours and combinations and you can go... More

You should visit the main Sprungli which has a cafe-restaurant on the 1st floor. Very nice accommodation, really quality sweets/drinks. A must-visit if you are a chocolate lover!
