We had a good time at this place. The food was great, plenty of choices and if you pick well you can have a meal for a decent price. We had a main course, shared dessert platter and 3 drinks for under € 30. I would say the staff is not super professional, but genuinely nice and looking out for... More

Had lunch here a couple of times. Food is good, drinks okay (coffee too expensive though). What really is a downer is that there is no attention at all from the owners / waiters. Waiting 10 minutes for the first person to come to our table is normal.

During our trip to Rotterdam in July, we also took a daytrip to Breda, the city where I studied in the early Nineties. We had lunch at Pieter Aertz, just off the Grote Markt and it was lovely. Pleasant service, lovely food, good wine and all in all a great experience. We´ll be back :)

We spent two evenings at this lovely restaurant. Sensibly priced quality food in a charming atmosphere. Service top notch - very friendly and helpful. There was a 'specials' menu which we had on both nights. Lovely puddings too. Wonderfully dark local beer but be careful - it's very potent. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here last weekend, good kitchen, Good value for what you get, They also have some indonesian plates or some smaller snacks. Also large beer choice, 1 beer on tap how changes regulary. They have a larger terrace outdoors on the veemarktstreet, in the centre of Breda, at 2 stones from the other square with pubs.
