Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great spot to grab a quick, tasty bite! It's the only place in Amsterdam that we went to eat at twice-- mostly because it was so convenient but the waffles were great too! The seating area is also quite nice.

A lovely sunny early afternoon so we stopped off here for a drink and a snack as it's in a lovely spot near the Rijksmuseum. Lots of tables and chairs so easy to get a seat, prompt service and a good choice of waffles, pastries,...cookies etc. I had a very tasty slice of apple pie and it was a good place to relax and chat with friends before we left for home.More

This was the perfect little place to stop and have breakfast before my museum tours started. It was a little busy but the line moved swiftly and the staff was super friendly to everyone around! The waffle with cinnamon sugar was delicious and you can't...go wrong with a cold orange juice on a warm summer morning!More

As always, wonderful people welcoming me but the coffee wasn’t the best quality- bitter and burnt tasting. Didn’t try food but those around seemed happy!

Stopped here for a much needed break & refuel after several hours at the Van Gough museum. The warm waffle with Nutella was really delicious and the cappuccino I had with it hit the caffeine spot. Happy I didn’t end up getting a coffee at...the museum cafe as the views here were also much better with outdoor seating to enjoy a bit of sunshine, people watching & yummy food and drink 👌🏼 🧇 ☕️More

I usually went next door, but there was a queue. I went to this one instead. It was good and did the job very well. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was fun.

I was exploring the city solo one day. The weather was cold and rainy and as I had visited the museum area previously, I thought I would venture back there to check out the food vendors and get a small morning meal. I chose this...place because I was in the mood for a waffle. I chose a plain waffle with sugar dusting and a cup of cocoa. Service was fast, the food fresh and hot and I had my choice of tables due to the weather and the mid morning hour. The waffle was delicious and hot. The cup of cocoa, was tasty and the perfect thing to warm your soul on a dreary day. My only regret, I wish I had splurged and gotten the strawberry topping as well, but being allergic to nuts, I by passed the Nutella drizzle. I should have just asked for the strawberries alone. But the plain waffle was very nice and I enjoyed my little breakfast before heading out to explore more of the city. This place is well worth a stop for a snack if you are in the museum area.More

Kiosk Rembrandt Van Gogh is a small, walk up restaurant and is located in Museum Square between the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. It is also located about 3 miles from Dam Square and central Amsterdam. To order you walk up to the counter...and then eat your food at one of the outdoor tables in front of the kiosk. I ate breakfast here with my wife on a Sunday morning in late May as it was next to the Van Gogh Museum (where we were headed). We ordered coffee and pastries and they were OK (nothing special). We picked this restaurant as we had an early morning entry ticket at the Van Gogh Museum. Overall I thought the food was OK but this place is very convenient if you are visiting one of the museums. I would stop here again if I am in the area and need a quick bite (and am in a big hurry).More
