I had dinner here about a year ago with my wife - on the advice of a friend and loved it. So - the question was - how would it be this time round? Well - I can only echo many of the reviews. This...More

I've been here once before and really enjoyed the food and the concept, this was a few years ago. I recently visited again and was pleasantly surprised that Daalder had actually got better! The front of house is fantastic, totally switched on and attentive. They...More

I had dinner at Daalder on October 13th. I was alone and sat at the bar and I ordered a 6 courses meal. The restaurant is very simple and unassuming, but the quality and variety of the dishes were surprising. Everything is very well served...More

One of our best experiences! What a great finding in Amsterdam. This is a terrific very good cuisine but considering the nature of each product. We choose the 6 courses menu and it is perfect. Good combination of vegetables, meat, fish, flavours, textures! All! The...More

One of the best meals I've ever had with attentive, friendly and discreet service. Just wonderful. We had the fixed price 5 course dinner option, with an amuse bouche and (absolutely fantastic) bread on top. Staff are friendly, knowledgable and plentiful and they really drive...More

What a wonderful evening. Outstanding food, full of flavour, style and finesse. You know you are in an outstanding restaurant when you don’t look at the menu, merely choose how many courses! One of the best meals in many years, and we are our dining...More

Simple, lovey setting. Unpretentious but thoughtful service. And the food was just spectacular. Creative without being unsettling, familiar yet not. We loved not knowing what dish was coming next. One of us has a nut and shellfish allergy and they were great about it. Totally...More

Maybe the best restaurant in Amsterdam. Serves 3 types of menues. Take at least the 6 course menue. Amazing. Don't miss it.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.

I agree that you should definitely call first about vegetarian options. When we ate there, there really weren't choices off of a menu. We chose how many courses we wanted, and they brought the specialities that the chef... More

When you come into our home, you can expect fine, Michelin-quality cuisine in a down to earth environment. We serve a 4-o 7- course pre fixe menu, made with beautiful fresh ingredients, all hand picked in Paris by our head chef and co-owner, Dennis Huwaë. His exquisite dishes look like art, and with their many flavors and textures, his creations are a delight to the palate. Because we don’t like the atmosphere of reverence that this level of food usually comes with, we do things a little different at Daalder. We like to serve these fine dishes with a smile in a joyful, unpretentious atmosphere. And, because we strive to make delicious and beautiful food accessible, you’ll be still smiling when the bill is presented! Warm Regards, Team Daalder
