An obvious place to stop for lunch or coffee before or after visiting Rembrandt's House, there is an outdoor area for warmer weather. The main restaurant is quite tradition, but the staff were a little too "efficient", tthough the food and drink was ok. The...More

When we arrived the waitress didn't want to serve us because we wanted to eat rather than drink. When the order came, it was incorrect, but I didn't complain for fear that we'd be told we were ungrateful. Then when I looked I wished that...More

Dropped in for a light lunch after visiting Rembrandt's house and was not disappointed ordered pea soup which I enjoyed so much I ordered a second serving. A great place to relax for lunch with a beer and watch the crowd.

We had such a lovely meal here and such a laugh with the staff! We were a large group and we were well accommodated by the restaurant. Fantastic place.

Staff were inattentive and rude. When I came in, I was unsure whether it was self service or table service. I was told brusquely to sit at a table. I waited patiently while several staff members stood around chatting. Having ignored me for some time,...More

We were going to visit Rembrandt's house, so wanted a snack lunch before we went in. The bistro is almost next door. We could sit inside or outside but decided to sit indoors. We both fancied a Dutch pancake. This place serves savoury and sweet...More
