Quite a nice cafe set in warm friendly surroundings. The staff are very nice. Food is also good. Their brown bread is very nice

Casual, fun, helpful staff and very good tasted sandwiches. Right along a canal. I'd come back again!

Stopped for lunch during a plod round the city. Had the club sandwich (very good) and a couple of hot chocolates but noticed they do some good Dutch beers too. Nice ambience and quite cosy. Friendly staff. Recommended.

De Vergulde Gaper was just what we needed for breakfast/brunch in the Jordaan. There was enough choice to suit us all and the omelettes were ideal as well as tasty. The bill for our brunch for 5 people came to just over 50 euros. Good points: + Friendly service + Quaint dark wood interior with interesting 'pharmacy' themed posters +... More

We spent a very pleasant cosy afternoon here eating a late lunch and drinking wine. The atmosphere is always very relaxed and the staff don't seem to mind you staying a while. The chefs in the kitchen had a window to the street and made delicious cafe food like Indonesian chicken satay. One of my favourite places to while away... More

This diner failed to 'hit the spot' for our family of four on a damp day in Amsterdam. The menu was pricey, but we were prepared to pay for good food. Sadly, the meals lacked llustre and the staff were unfriendly and bordering rude (we waited whilst they checked their phones and chatted in order to ask questions), they asked... More

Really cosy, reasonably priced, chilled out place to spend a few hours in Amsterdam. The woman running the bar was lovely.

This is a nice restaurant situated next to the Prinsengracht and is just north of the Anne Frank house. It's a good place for snacks, meals or drinks.

It was a great place to have a break from a cold day walking. We only had a coffee, but would come back for snacks and beer 😀

Famished after an early flight and long ride from airport. Once settled in out rental we dropped by this place to fuel us on our first day. I've got to say our meal put us at a good start. Must try is their burger. Juicy and tasty! Paired it with a radler and it was a match. The place was... More
