We were very happy to find an Italian restaurant that actually serves genuine Italian food. Everything on the menu looked amazing. The sommelier and the waiters were all very friendly and were eager to answer any questions we had about the menu or wines, and...definitely wanted us to have a good experience in their restaurant. For starters we had a beef ragu over a bed of pasta. Both the beef and the pasta were perfectly prepared. We went on to the rabbit, a house specialty, and it was delicious. The sommelier recommended wines by the glass which paired perfectly with the courses. We thought the service was outstanding, given that each item is individually prepared. We also thought the prices were very reasonable, given the high quality of the food and wine. We will definitely return, if we are ever again in Amsterdam.More

It was about to pour. We didn't have a booking. But we were tired and hungry. The crew at Momenti cleared a table, sat us right down, and served us an amazing meal! We started with sharing beautifully paired cured meats and aged cheeses along...with two pasta dishes (truffle ravioli, anyone?). For our main course, they had a special rabbit with several of us had...it was amazing. OMG this is the best Italian food outside of Italy…..and maybe more than half of Italy!!! If they have the rabbit HAVE IT!!!

Kinda hysterical. Food was fine. Limited menu. My friend changed her mind within seconds of ordering. Literally while he was at the terminal plugging it in. She asked his opinion on what was better and changed her mind. He said OK. When plates came they...brought the wrong one to her. It took ages —ages—to bring the correct one. So long that we finished sharing mine and then asked to cancel hers. They said it was already prepared. So fine. It came, we ate it. Bill came — no concession at all. I said it was kinda unusual to not offer to make any amends. Waiter said it was the fault of the kitchen. (Pretty sure not as if he’d told them when he said it was OK, the change would have been made.) And said I should be sure to mention his name in any review. So many good restaurants in Amsterdam no point in this kinda rudeness. It is just pathetic. Food was fine, but not worth the attitude.More

The food and service were really fantastic! I would love to come again, but what bothered me immensely at the end was the sentence on the receipt “Service not included”. Don't the staff at Momenti get paid??? There are laws for fair wages here in...the Netherlands; this is not America! It arouses in me a deep pity for the staff at Momenti, but in no way makes me want to tip extra, on the contrary.More

The food was average, overly reliant on tomato paste for flavor, with no sense of nuance or mastery. The wine by the glass pours were remarkably small. The service was abysmal. The prices were outsized. So, not the best dinner I've ever had.

Found this place by accident and it was a fantastic find. Small but charming authentic Italian restaurant. Nick was a very friendly, helpful and attentive waiter. We were just wanting a light early meal, so my wife had the eggplant parm, and I had the...featured special of duck ragu on tagliatelle. It was delicious and had so much duck and really great flavor. Nice wine as well. The lemon dessert special sounded great but we did not save room. Definitely recommend.More

We booked the night before having walked by and liked the look of the place and the menu. Staff all seemed to be Italian and the food was authentic and interesting. We ate off the menu and a specials board. The photo is a desert...part based on tiramisu called fugimisu. It was chocolate/cream and berries. Typical of the modern and innovative take on traditional Italian cuisine.More

A beautiful and authentic Italian restaurant. Me and my friends all had pasta dishes. What made our evening was the staff. Attentive, kind and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

The food was absolutely delicious and the desserts were real pieces of art. Also really friendly atmosphere. We will definitely visit this restaurant again.
