Amsterdam's Utrechtsestraat is full with restaurants, Nestled between a variety of fancy places is this small Indonesian restaurant where food is the essence. Rijsttafel as it should be: small dishes with a wide variety of tastes and smells: hot, cold, spicy, sweet, sour and intriguing. Just enough to satisfy your palate. You leave satisfied with a pleasant aftertaste of Asian... More

I was looking for an early and quick dinner option and found the perfect spot. They served yummy chicken satay with spring rolls. Service was fast and friendly.

i had a taster menu with about 10 different items. All well presented but I had expected more spice The best item in the meal was in fact the sambal. I have never tasted a sambal that was so flavorsome

If you want a posh restaurant, stop reading, now! This place was a really great discovery. Tasty food, friendly service, but totally relaxed. The place is small, so don't expect masses of elbow room, but it's comfortable enough. This place justifies a much higher ranking than it has, in my opinion. The menu is simple and the combos sometimes look... More

We booked for a group of ten ( this is a small restaurant) Ordered Nasi Rames - a dish with rice and assorted meats, veggies and some other yummy-yummies - . It was delicious and plentiful. Plus the Laksa soup as startes was top! Go there. They open at 18:00 and don't be late :)

This was a very nice restaurant, staff were very attentive and polite. We had the share dishes between 2 of us, which was great as we got to try a bit of everything. All tasted nice & fresh. Loved how it was served in the small bowls.

Enjoyed with my partner and a friend two delicious rijsttafels at this small restaurant. If you want an authentic, high-quality, and resonably priced Indonesian dinner, don't look any further!

The hosts were really friendly, the homemade Indonesian food was good (the ayam rica-rica is not too spicy as well!) I had come over twice during my stay & would definitely come again in my next visit. I'd recommend you to try the Javanese omelette if you're visiting!

This is most likely the best Indonesian restaurant in Amsterdam. It is a very small restaurant, with a simple decor. But don't let that fool you. The food is wonderful: all made with very fresh ingredients and spices. I have been to Indonesia often and eating here is like being back, but then cleaner. The staff is charming and helpful.... This place was quiet when we first arrived but filled up steadily throughout our meal. The server was friendly and helpful and was very attentive to all of the tables. The food was delicious and the portions were large: we couldn't finish our meals! This restaurant is worth checking out!
