This is a small, cozy restaurant with excellent food, apparently effortless timely service, unhurried atmosphere. The menu choices were imaginative and well priced. We were lucky to get in without a reservation on a cold January night, but given the small size and excellent value,...More

We were looking for a typical Dutch restaurant and this was it. A small intimate cafe type restaurant where the food was cooked to perfection and was delicious, especially the liquorice parfait which was outstanding. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our meal.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at De Struisvogel. It is a small restaurant so I recommend a reservation.

Hi Eoghan I agree with Philip R. It is best to call the restaurant to find out. There weren’t any children there when I went. Also the restaurant is quite small and the tables are close together so it may not be ideal. But... More
