Visited on a Sunday evening in February, so very, very quiet. However, staff still very attentive and happy to advise on choices, even to the extent of making sure you don't over order (easy to do!). Tapas style dishes were extremely tasty. Ambience/decor all very pleasant.

Perfect combination of food, atmosphere and service! Great tapas with lots of variation - Manchego from Spain, Bougatsa from Greece and Vitello Tonato from Italy. The atmosphere is homey and welcoming, with warm interior and lighting. The perfect place for a cosy and nice dinner with friends and family.

My wife and I went two nights in a row the food is so good. The first night we met the owner and were served by both his lovely daughters the wine was selected from an Italian vineyard that only supply's this family and the food is all home made. The second night the owner had the staff thank us... More

A good but underachieving restaurant in a busy neighbourhood of Amsterdam. Important things first: Food is good and tasty. A nice selection of different dishes from Greece and Spain that you can enjoy with your wine. Though portions could be bigger, variety could be enriched and prices could be lower for what you get. The owner is very friendly and... More

There is something to say about a restaurant when the owner greets you and seats you at the table. Oresti showed us a great time staring from the appetizers to the main to dessert. The feta baked with honey and the tzatziki were really good. The filet mignon and souvlaki were grilled perfectly. This meal pared with our wine was... More

This restaurant serves a large selection of Spanish, Italian, Greek and Turkish tapas/mezes. Typically, if you are in a group, everyone choses 2 or 3 dishes and you all share. There was 5 of us and we ordered 13 tapas in total. We would have been fine with 10, but there were just too many great tapas to choose from.... More

In the heart of Amsterdam's hottest district De Pijp you can enjoy southern delicious food from the Mediterrenean. A mix of mostly Greek and Spanish dishes and great wine are the recipe for a lovely dinner. We kept on ordening and left with a happy feeling. Next time we're in town, Oresta is on our menu!

Oresti's is special. The food is authentic. I mean *really* authentic. We live some of the year in Andalusia, Spain; as a result we know what really good Spanish tapas is supposed to taste like. You can get this here. We have also travelled a lot in Greece so we know the local food. Again. You can get this here.... More

Our taxi driver took us to this restaurant and he even made the booking by phone. Honestly we had a great time as we are both lovers of Mediterranean cuisine be it Greek/Turkish/Italian/libanese/Syrian. We just love it. The food was amazing and the service immaculate. I am certain that we will come again before our departure back home
