In Amsterdam, there are a lot of places where you can eat cheap but you have to know where you should be. Looking for a really well-filled plate, then the Cous Cous club comes highly recommended. The menu is simple; The choice of three couscous dishes, veggie, with lamb or a la maison which means with lamb, merguez and chicken.... More

We had a lamb and a veggie couscous between us and enjoyed them. The menu is pretty limited, but the couscous is excellent. Service was friendly and very relaxed. We enjoyed funky background music and a bohemian casual atmosphere.

What a find. We stepped of the tram in de pip and stumbled into this little cafe with just three items on the menu. Huge serving of lamb, steamed vegetables, cous cous and Harissa. Heaven on a plate, just pure comfort food. Service was fast and friendly. Great value for money, lovely atmosphere, eclectic decor. As previous reviewer pointed out,... More

For starters, this place is in De Pijp area and not the Red Light District. Its a great place if you're looking for something tasty and healthy to eat and happen to like the one dish they serve here: couscous. It comes in 3 variations: the basis is vegetarian, good quality couscous with big steamed vegetables and home-made harissa (I... More

Really simple couscous restaurant, without a menu - you choose from standard couscous, couscous royale and vegetarian couscous! Friendly staff and the owner is working too. The coucous is really good, with homemade fresh ingredients and as much extra stock and harissa as you want. One north African wine at a reasonable price and homemade tarts & cakes and good... More
