First, the waitress seemed annoyed that we were using a Groupon, I don't drink alcohol and when I ordered tap water she told me that wasn't allowed because we were using a Groupon, even though my boyfriend and friend both ordered wine. So I was...More

My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Il Fiore. We shared the caprese salad and shrimp scampi appetizer, then she had pasta with scallops and I had the spinach cannelloni. We topped it off with the creme brûlée. Truly loved all of it....More

Simple rustic Italian restaurant. Three of us went for dinner and ordered the fish of the day, lamb shoulder and lamb crown. All were well cooked and portions were humongous (one of the diners actually wondered if he had accidentally ordered the double portion of...More

I've never been charged for bread at a restaurant. Until I visited Il Fiore, that is. They are now charging for bread -- though it's not mentioned in their online menu. 5 Euros for about 6 small round balls of garlic bread! The disappointment didn't...More

The steal was great, the salad, as well. Really laid-back service, smiles and no hurries. It‘s cozy and away from the big touristic flow. Highly recommended!

Their best and must try is the Lamb chops crown. The salads are good and so the cannelloni and the ravioli. The Asparagus soup of the the day was a big disappointment. A good Montepulciano di Abruzzo wine compensate all.

Ate here for dinner our first evening in Amsterdam just a week ago, and it was the BEST meal we had the entire time in the city. We arrived just as they opened, and were still seated promptly. We were the only customers in the...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
