Located on a quiet street, this place is a real find with very helpful and friendly service, excellent wine choices and nice appetizers to select from (the kitchen was closed the night I visited but a charcuterie plate was exactly what I wanted). The atmosphere was nice and casual and overall very comfortable. I would definitely go again.

This is a quite simple wine bar with a relaxed ambiente. It has a good selection of wines, offers antipasti and also some Italian dishes (3 starters, 4 main, 2 desserts). I had risotto con gambieri as a main, really tasty, but I left a bit hungry .... Furthermore my glass of wine was quite small... they get 7-8 glasses... More

Had a wonderful experience, on my own, at this adorable wine bar. Meeting Laura was equally enjoyable, who recommended the delicious food paired with yummy wines. For starters I had the caprese salad, followed by a Spaghetti Vongole which was out of this world. I polished off this heavenly feast with a delicious barbera. Looking forward to my next visit... I went for my very First Time to Amsterdam and this place I found it searching on the web. For my personal experience with my friend (vacations) I wish I found it earlier and returned before leaving. Very nice wine, they made some tapas that were not in the menu ( we went mid afternoon) amazing, the chef was really... More

I decided not to go here anymore after having a horrible interaction with the bartender. The guy literally could not handle two orders of wine at the same time and had the audacity to be aggressive towards me when I called him out on it. Amsterdam customer service can be pretty bad, but he was over the top.

It's a nice place, with nice ambience, good cheese and ham plates and ok wines. I find it a bit expensive (even for Amsterdam standards).

Went to this wine bar as it was close the hotel. Our server was very friendly and helpful as we asked for recommendations. He seemed very knowledgable. We also ordered a cheese and meat platter, the largest one as we were hoping it would suffice for dinner. The cheese and meats were delicious but unfortunately not a large portion. It... More

Having sat there for a couple hours, feela like a one way trip to Italy. Their wines, bruschettas and great service makes you feel at home. The sommelier has extensive knowledge in their wine list and beers. Dinner menu changes every week, which is great for returning guests!

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
