Very close to the Maritime Museum. Food was a little pricey but very good. Almost every dish on the menu has eggs. I had the smoked salmon and the other had the eggs Benedict. The dessert banana peanut butter pie was outstanding.

A nice place to brunch; the pancakes were very good, the kimchi was ok and the coffee was good (and they have almond milk). We didn't get to try the cakes but the GF Nutella cake looked rather appetising. We felt a bit rushed though, understandable since the queue for tables grew rather long while we were there. The tables... More

This place is massively popular so we had to queue for a good half an hour to be seated. Luckily we'd had a light meal beforehand, so not a big deal. Food is good, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Worth a visit if you have the time.

Well... I read the ta reviews and although others have said there could be a wait the staff were fab and worth the wait so... we went for Brunch. We got there at 11am and had not booked so we were put on the waiting list and went across the road to a great park: swings, slide, trampoline, see-saw brilliant.... More

We always go early and am very glad we did as a line formed before it was even open. Had the best pancakes here that I've ever tasted! The coffee is also amazing compared to the usual bland style that's so common in Europe. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Amsterdam.

We waited for 1hour and 20 minutes to get a table at Bakers & Roasters in de Pijp. Whenever we got our table and the waitress took our order we waited for another 40 minutes to get our food. Unfortunately my boyfriends dish was incomplete and not warm anymore, since the chef did not get his time management right. Very... More

We arrived around 10:30am and there were a few people already queueing up outside the cafe and the entrance area was filled with waiting customers. We were told to be waiting around 30minutes but as we travelled across the city to visit this place we thought we will wait and endure! Time goes fairly fast and its never as long... More

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students.
