Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

They are centrally located in the museum square. The burgers are excellent. The vegan looked great too! We didn’t try but the selection was good.

With no exaggeration, this is the best place to grab quick bite and the food is delicious and warm. I had to go back to this place 3 times during my short stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended as its close to the big museums.⭐⭐⭐⭐

My partner and myself stopped off before going to the Van Gogh museum which is just a stone throw away from the store. The food is delicious and not too pricey! The staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and efficient service ~ also very patient. I came at just the right moment, because in a few minutes, the line was quite long. Should you have to wait in line, the food is well worth the wait. I had the hamburger with...bacon, and it was perfect. Simply delicious! Also the iced coffee was very, very good. The slogan is "Come hungry, leave happy" ~ and that's exactly what I did. I'd go back there today, but now I'm two countries away. I hope to be able to return to Amsterdam and repeat my visit to the Food Crib. Thank you so much, Ladies!More

“Come hungry, leave happy,” the awning says, and you definitely can here. We tried two of their dogs, the chubby dog with cheese & bacon and the bratwurst with cheese & sauerkraut. Both were quite nice, served on big and crusty rustic rolls. The bacon...was a little bit over-crispy, but still – it was bacon, and thus good. Sadly, neither of us took the opportunity to try the hempburger. The food was tasty, if not something to write home about on its own, but the location is a winner here. Eating in front of the Rijksmuseum, amidst fountains, tulip pots and birds flying amidst the tourists, it is a very nice spot to sit, reflect and enjoy.More
