In a city, Amsterdam, where 'breakfast' is not the norm that many tourists expect, the Cafe at the Rijksmuseum provides a series of wonderful menu choices in a sophisticated but unstuffy environment. We visited twice, once while visiting the museum itself and once as a...More

Really friendly engaging staff for whom nothing was too much. Nice coffee/tea that wasn't too outrageously expensive.

This is a very small basic cafe with a really limited range of choices but if you want a small, quick refreshment and avoid the wait at the main cafe, this is sufficient.

Highly recommended for a refreshment break. Good waiter service. The cake of the month, Carrot Cake, was most delicious. A stylish café in the beautiful surroundings of the Rijks Museum. Well worth a visit!

Dear Dunniton, Thank you for reviewing our service. We regret the slow service you experienced in our Café and will share your comments with our team for improvement. We look forward to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards.

On a weekday visit the cafe was really busy. Not a long wait for a table for a long wait for a waiter. Interesting menu and you'll pay for it; Have a drink and eat in the historic antique district just north of the museum

Stopped by for a snack before visiting the museum. Great selection of cheeses and nuts in a great setting. Can definitely recommend and will make a point of stopping by again on our next visit.

We only stopped for a glass of wine and a coffee after visiting the museum. The space is beautiful, and a comfortable spot to view the inside of the atrium structure and lighting grids.

After a couple hours of touring the Rijksmuseum, we stopped and had lunch in the café. The café is large and modern. It sits in the courtyard of the museum. The service was good. We had the tomato soup and a sandwich, which were very...More
