If your head is on a swivel it will get a work out eating outside at this restaurant. So close to the Central Station, the foot, bicycle, tram and car traffic will amaze you. The sandwiches her are a nice treat. BUT you HAVE to have the fries with it. a shareable portion is one. Along with that a lot... More

I usually don't stop to the restaurant with doorman outside but thanks to the friendly guy at the menu i could enjoy a wonderful steak in this cozy restaurant. The staff is very polite and the service fast. We eat spare ribs and a really tender Argentinian steak with a bottle of malbec for only 40 euro. In conclusion well... More

Was a bit wary walking into this place. The menu is limited, which is probably a good thing. Open kitchen provides well cooked food in great portion sizes. Average service, took three attempts to pay.

Good value for money restaurant. Wide variety of food - Meat; Fish and chicken. They also make great cappuccinos. Free wifi for customers. Can sit inside or on the outside. Would recommend it to friends.

Brilliant steaks! Well priced, good location close to central station. Really accommodating for large groups without a reservation.

Me & my boyfriend popped in for a quick sandwich for lunch. I had the Veggie Club Sandwich & I think it's probably the best sandwich I've ever had!

We were desperate for somewhere to eat after a long journey and this was the first place we came across, so we had no great hopes of anything other than dead average, however we were pleasantly surprised, although far from the best meal we have ever eaten it was very acceptable. Service was good and the waitress was friendly and... More

We came across this restaurant whilst exploring like you do, the outside had lovely heaters and these glass flamed fires nr tables which gave it a lovely feel. The food was excellent, can strongly recommend garlic mayo and bread for starters and the chicken grill for main.

Service slow as a snail waited over an hour for a english breakfast. When it arrived the baked beans were cold. No apology and the waiter didn't have any drive to give good customer service. They were under staffed but theres no reason for being reluctant. Breakfast was a mess

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away.
