We ordered the five course tasting for $ 150 each. Value like beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. It was an amazing gastronomic experience. Five star ! In our opinion worth it. Its quality and uniqueness that we tasted was outstanding. Service was...a three star, drop food quick, brief explanation and server gone. Not much follow up after each course or any sincere interest shown really if we enjoyed our meal.. Worst part was the upsells. Kind of insulting, When the truffle dish was served we were asked if we wanted more truffles for another $ 15 each. We opted but did we really need extra truffles ? Why was it offered, to pad the bill ?. The truffle dish didnt have enough truffles ? Remember we were paying $ 150 each. Then between later dishes we were offered a cheese dish in addition for extra money. We declined. Lastly, at the conclusion of the meal we were OFFERED a credit card terminal and an expectation for a 10% tip. It was blatant. I mentioned out loud that you don't tip in Europe, the server didn't like that at all . She offered me a dirty look as we left. I found it insulting to be offered upsells for truffles, extra cheese plate and a tip. The upsells and tip expectation put a damper on a great gastronomic experience that we were so looking forward to. A phenomenal food experience marred by some not so classy offerings.More

There was nothing bad about the dinner we had, but when I go to a Michelin starred restaurant and I paid 300 EUR for a meal, I expect to be wowed but the quality and the flavour of the dishes, and it didn't happen. I...found it quite average and only one out of six dishes deserved a distinction, the rest were quite average.More

Nice food. Lighting is cosy. Nondescript exterior so it’s easy to just walk past it. It’s just before the park (Sarpathipark) if you are walking from the Metro Station (de Pijp) so if you see lots of trees suddenly then you should check if you...have walked past. Welcoming sommelier. Highlights are the Hake fillet with curry sauce, the Coconut Bisque (in the Lobster dish), and the Veal entrecôte. Good value.More

A pleasant and very comfortable space with very friendly staff. The open kitchen was quiet and calm providing background entertainment. The signature baked celeriac dish was divine and the pricing kind. Perfection would be if the thoughtful kitchen took a look at the drinks menus...and conjured up a house cocktail, something smooth and Dutch with a hint of fire.More

The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was very laid back despite being a Michelin restaurant. The real value can be found in the magic of the chef who really dares to create the unexpected. The dishes were brought to perfection and altogether were closely aligned...as if they were part of the same story. Culinary artwork at its best paired with a very personal touch of the most friendly staff you can find. I will make sure to visit Vienna hoping to enjoy the same hospitality as we received during our visit. Thank you for the amazing experience!More

We enjoyed a wonderful evening. The hostess welcomed us in a very friendly way and guided us to the table by the window. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy. We chose the seven-course menu with paired wines. The pairing wines were as surprising...as the dishes. Our waitress Stephanie was very spontaneous, attentive, and genuinely friendly, giving short, clear explanations of the dishes and wines. The pauses between dishes were perfectly timed so we could enjoy all the fabulous dishes throughout the evening. We felt very welcome.More

A restaurant that deserve its michelin star. Cozy atmosphere, polite personnel and nice combination of flavours, We had the menu of 5 plates each with my wife and we were ecstatic with the flavours. Guinea fowl was the best dish for me but this does...not mean the others were far behind. Happy to see many Greek wines there but we chose an Italian one that was also very good choice. Too bad we didnt meet the Greek chef to say hi. Keep up the good work and why not a 2nd michelin star? Ps, Toilet is not worthy of a michelin star needs improvement :-)More

We visited Sinne on a Sunday evening in October and were hoping to experience the quality of food described by other reviews on TA. After sitting through a very lengthy, and unfortunately unexciting seven course dinner, but with seemingly good customer service, we were presented...with a bill which included an almost EUR 50 additional charge for truffle shavings and tap water. During one of the courses, a transparent glass box was presented to us with truffles as a good additional topping to the course we had just been served. At no point was it mentioned that these truffle shavings would cost approximately EUR 30, and when we did find out, it was in the form of an extra on the bill. Had we been advised that the truffles weren’t a free supplement (at an already expensive restaurant), we would have refused them - we also didn’t really think they actually did much for the course to which they were applied. When I brought the tap water and truffle charges up with the waitress she went to speak to her manager and then came back taking the two items off the bill saying there had been a “miscommunication on her behalf”. This meant our bill came to our estimated total and I would usually have left it at that. But I had heard the waitress use the same line about the truffles to the table next to us only twenty minutes prior and so it seemed to me that there was, maybe not a systemic, but definitely repeated, attempt to offer customers truffles as an additional recommended topping to a course, without mentioning the EUR 15 per application of the truffles. I am unsure if this was all a coincidence, simply a misunderstanding, or an issue across the restaurant - but it seemed worthy of being addressed in a review.More

Small cosy and intimate place, too soft interior lights. Very kind, knowledgable and attentive staff. Elaborate and refined dishes. A pity for the noisy and rude table near ours that disturbed the harmony of the place. Adequate price. A pleasant gourmet experience!

We had a reservation snafu at a nearby Michelin-starred restaurant, and the chef there referred us to Sinne. We ended up being glad for the snafu, because we had a wonderful experience at Sinne. Food was fabulous, service warm, personable, efficient, knowledgeable - it added...to what was a wonderful culinary experience. And the wine pairings were excellent. The only cocktail they offered was an unusual gin and tonic, made with a newly purchased Dutch gin, Catz Dry Gin, with a cinnamon stick pink peppercorns, and juniper berries. Even the people in our party who don’t like gin and tonics loved it. It’s a small, unpretentious place, one we never would have picked out walking by, but it provided us with the most enjoyable of many evenings of fine dining in Amsterdam. We’d go back in a heartbeat. A highly recommended gem.More

Excellent three course dinner. Three very good amuses bouche. Started with a beetroot dish and mackerel. Both dishes were delicious, beautiful presentation. Main dish sous vide prepared braised veal with vegetables and an excellent gravy. Great dish, again beautifully presented. Pre dessert an exotic fruit...mousse followed by a fine mint chocolate dessert with cocos sorbet. Great gourmandises accompanied the espresso. Service is friendly and efficient. An excellent, creative dinner in this one Michelin star comfortable restaurant.More

Wow! What can we say? We had fairly high expectations when we booked, but very happy to say they were all exceeded. We visited for my wife’s birthday on a Thursday whilst we were visiting relatives. We were greeted by our waitress (sorry can’t remember...her name) and she immediately made us feel at ease. She was constantly within quick distance when we needed her for anything and explained the dishes individually and recommended the 6 course option. Whilst we ordered 6 courses with canapés, bread etc it was actually 9 dishes that we were served. One of the chef’s comes out personally to serve each course and explain a little bit about the dish, I can honestly say that nearly all of them were stunning! Our waitress was truly superb, we never felt either rushed nor ignored and she recommended some amazing wine to accompany our meal. I have to say that I’m quite picky about awarding a 5* review, I rarely do it, but Sinne was truly exceptional and good value for money considering the quality and service. We will definitely return!More

This restaurant has been in my neighbourhood for years, but somehow, I never managed to have dinner there. But I was missing out Big Time! We had an 4-course dinner with an excellent wine pairing, which was really really tasteful and surprising. All flavours were...beautiful, I just have no words, not to mention the excellent service by our host. Being spoiled with having dinners at 2 Michelin stars restaurants, I would say that Sinne definitely deserve an 2nd Michelin star!!!! Highly recommended and I will definitely return!More
