The food here is amazing, one of the best curries I've ever had! Always come here when visiting Amsterdam, and will continue to!

Located on Damrak, the restaurant offers excellent Indian food. Entrance to the restaurant is through a long narrow corridor from the Damrak. Inside the restaurant is pretty spacious although the decor is a bit dated. The restaurant offers ala carte optios as well as combo meals and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Food is delicious and authentic Indian although... More

I had been here once before for quick evening snacks. The samosas were totally unimpressive. But I decided to give it another go for a proper dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The vegetarian meal I had was delicious and in perfect portion size for a single person. The staff is really pleasant and bears a personal touch to service. Will... More

On our first night in Amsterdam we fancied some Indian food, this was the first place we came across so decided to give it a try. Restaurant was lovely inside, though the corridor leading to it was dodgy. We were seated right away, however it took a while for our orders to be taken. We had ordered Onion Bahji's and... More

When we went there for lunch I wasn't enthusiastic at first. As the restaurant is situated on one of the most touristy roads and with it being at the end of a long, dark hallway, I expected it to be a sort of 'tourist trap', that makes profit from inexperienced tourists rather than from serving quality food. But oh was... More

A great little hidden restaurant! It's located on the Main Street but the entrance is hidden to it's not noisy. The staff is very nice and lovely and the atmosphere is very authentic with a strong smell of Indian spices and Indian music on the background! The food was great and reminded me of India itself! Very recommended!!!

The best thing about the restaurant is its prominent location. 5 Minutes walk from Amsterdam Central railway Station. All major locations like Madam Tussads, Central Square, Shopping Centers , Canal trip etc are near to the Hotel. They serve excellent Thali which is followed by Desserts Good Food , Good Ambiance , Good Service. I would recommend it for everybody... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
