Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had absolutely worst experience ever from the emotional waitress. Don’t come to this place. Me and my friend ordered the same noodles, but mine had way less soup. When I asked for more, the waitress rolled her eyes and threw the noodles on the...table, said “ now you happy”. I questioned why she communicated in this way. She responded “ do you want me to kneel? I am not your slave.” Her words were really shocking, disrespectful. I am Chinese and she also looks an Asian. I don’t understand why she treated us like this. Did she always smile towards European people? Our appetite was fully ruined and did not finish the ramen (really fatty today, don’t know what happened). We payed the bill and asked for an apology. She run away. We talked with the owner, he apologized on behalf of her but there is nothing else he could do. Overall, bad experience. Bad quality control and rude service. Disappointing. I don’t recommend anyone coming to this place.More

Its in basement but with a lovely and clean set-up. Quite busy at night as well. The ramen broth is super rich and it maybe a bit too salty for us. However the handmade noodles and really al dente and the special pork charsiu is...really yummy with miso glazed!More

My family loves ramen and everytime we travel, we try at least on or two ramen places around. After trying dozens of restaurants in Americas and Europe (unfortunatly we still have not visited ramens homeland), this is the BEST we’ve ever tasted. 100% reccomend it!

What can I say? I’m from LA and my son and I are ramen snobs. We LOVED this place! Trust me. Go and enjoy. Authentic, tasty, fresh and the most amazing staff!

I went with my friends. The noodles was bad like instant noodles. The waitress upsets me, i asked for a little bottle of water and she brought a big one and tried to scam us 3 times with the water. The water looks like it...came from the tap.More

The ramen itself tastes good, the only improvement is the noodles, it’s too soft indeed. Everything Ng else like the soup, pork, vegetable and egg are so nice.

I went there in 2021-June,at the time it was OK for a European interpretation of Japanese rame. I went back in 2013-July and it was bad, broth was lukewarm water, noodles were tough and worst of all the chasiu was cold. The person who seated us...was OK, but our order taker just didn’t know what was going on. They may have had a bad night, but I doubt it,observing other tables the different ramen dishes all looked poorly . I hope they find a way to improve and serve better food.More

Restaurant is underground. and a reasonable size. Staff were busy and took long enough to take our order that I was wondering whether we needed to go to the counter to place our order. We both had hakata ramen which we enjoyed (although the broth...is better in Shoryu in London). Once we had the bill we had to pay at the counter. Overall not somewhere to stay and linger over a meal but I think that it's a good choice for reasonably quick, filling ramen.More

Quality of ramen at this place definitely went down significantly compared to our last visit a few years ago…we had hakata miso this time but it wasn’t wow anymore and noodles were simply dull. Ebi-fry were super oily and half of that was thick batter...with tiny prawns hiding in it. And all together close to $60 euro just for two ramens and three small ebi fries !? You gotta be kidding me…More

One of the best restaurants to have Ramen dishes, I loved their Sesame Ramen Soup, awesomely tasty and healthy. My love for Japanese food just got bigger 😃 while in Amsterdam and if you like Asian/Japanese food, this is a must visit. To top it...off, it’s close to Red Light area and very reasonable 🤣More

Visited here as the reviews were good. Ordered a chicken kimchi Raman and katakaman Raman which were disgusting. The soup tasted like someone had scooped the water out of the sea. Mince was stone cold on the karakaman raman. Never had such a bad Raman...in my life, the only positive was that the girl serving us was lovely! Would not waste any money here when visiting Amsterdam.More
